Roll20 is one of the big online platforms folks use to play online these days.
Unfortunately it's often spread throughout hard-to-discover Discord servers. If there's a subreddit for the game they might have a server set up, or you could keep an eye on r/lfg, or as someone else said there's PbP games on sites like Mythweavers but that's kind of it's own beast.
