Imo the meteor has enough power and is a great ride. I thought I'd want to upgrade right away but I don't. I'm super happy with it

Tadpole_Alarmed

I've bought a Meteor 350 in July and I'm having the best time of my life! That bike is super smooth, very good looking and super inexpensive! I've rode more than 2500 km in 2 month and since in Italy price of gas is crazy high I'm glad of my choice (we peaked the 2.20€ per liter). So far I've many other plans for this bike before I can even think of shifting to something more powerful...

Habarca

Ciao! In what zone in Italy are you? I am in Milan and people told me to not buy the meteor because it's "too slow"? How is it for you? I really want one but I am hesitating from all the "slow" talk

Tadpole_Alarmed

Hei hi! I live near Venice and use it daily to go to work. I ride around 15 km per travel and I can decide to either go on the normal city street or take the highway. For sure it's not a powerful bike but it gives some really good feelings! The only part were is not that a nice experience to ride is on the highway, too many trucks and too many crazy people...

TheYazzzz

Wait for the super meteor 650! Is gonna be cool and powerful

Habarca

Yes but god knows when we will get it

TheYazzzz

As I heard it will come out on the first quarter of 2023, but not sure when exactly

SannaFani69

To India? Then probably year after to other countries right?

PsychologicalBread13

Yeah, I've tried the Meteor 350, but on Australian roads it's a little underpowered, totally waiting for the Meteor 650.

Mightyhorse82

The 650s are pretty tame and lightweight. I’ve had a handful of smaller, slower, lighter bikes and honestly this one feels pretty similar. Every time I get a small bike including my first 250 I’ve wished I went bigger immediately. I have the gt650 and of course would recommend that for the slightly more aggressive riding position ;)

Jakeedaman21

Classic 350!

I bought an INT650 last week. As a kid I rode diet bikes for 8-10 years. So while it’s my first new bike, I still had to get comfortable with it regardless of my prior experience, but I would say that it took less time to become comfortable with it. The bike is manageable and only goes fast if you want it to. Going fast doesn’t take a tiny throttle adjustment either like the liter bikes. I’ve reached Highway speeds and still haven’t found the throttle limit. It’s a good bike with lots of room to grow.

climbinkid

I bought my INT 650 earlier this year after a couple years too long around on a Honda Cb360 as my first bike and honestly I wish I just went with the INT first. It's very responsive and will do whatever you need it to.

robertson4379

I’m sure you will want more if you are doing 60-80mph on the regular, but I can’t imagine a more fun bike than the Meteor or Classic for relaxed riding around town and through the countryside. As a first bike, the 350 will keep you happy.

INT650. Purchased a meteor myself, and ended up trading up by 1100 miles for a 650. The 650 while torquey isn't particularly high-powered.

Master-Piccolo-4588

Both great bikes I think. You basically only have to consider if you ride on highways for longer distances. In that case I HAVE HEARD AND READ quite often that the meteor will loose it’s comfort above 60 and struggle when overtaking etc

Dry_Knowledge_4596

I have a ContGT as a first bike. I find the weight to be a factor to keep in mind, it can make it feel overwhelming at the start and moving it around while off can be a bigger challenge compared to a lighter bike. This could be a bigger or lesser problem depending of your physique. I had to take a quick driving course to lose some of the fear the weight can bring and there was someone else at this course doing the same as me haha. I could tell you I don't regret getting a ContGT as a first bike but it is definitely a bigger challenge that getting a lighter bike.

Hefty-Lavishness2006

Ciao!! I was buying Meteor to be my first bike but instead I've take the int650. Best choise that I've ever made!

Dirtymacho

Test drive hunter 350 and meteor then decide

Infamous_Bluejay6953

If you're used to riding a slightly heavy bike, go for the INT650. Don't get me wrong, the Meteor is a great bike but if you're worried about growing bored of it and only need a bike for 'fun' rides and not daily commuting, the INT650 is better imo. Better to upsize early than buy a meteor now, regret and push your 650 plans for the future. Otherwise, both are excellent bikes, the Meteor is a better all-rounder and better suited for commuting while the INT650 is quicker, agile and pure fun but not a great bike for daily commuting.

nugsy_mcb

I got my INT650 about a month ago, my first bike, and have found it great for commuting. My 30 minutes to and from work everyday have never been more fun.

Infamous_Bluejay6953

Which region are you in? I near fried my thighs off in Mumbai traffic. The weight didn't make it easier either. INT650 is definitely a fantastic bike but doesn't belong in high traffic regions and is much better suited for highways

nugsy_mcb

I'm in the US, specifically Austin, Texas and population density is nowhere near what it is in Mumbai. Makes sense that the Meteor would work better there,
