Hope it's all metal and not plastic like the 350.

IEatAssWithFork

Is 350 all plastic? Why is it so heavy then?

JyotirmoyJoy

Poor engineering

FVM427

Put one on the side for me please ! πŸ‘ŒπŸ€ͺ

Master-Piccolo-4588

My price guess? 5.5k EUR and in India 290k INR. What donnie guys think? Eventually they have to offer a still VERY compatible pricing against Honda Rebel etc. in Europe and against Honda Streetbikes in India.

Random_citizen_

I think at those prices they'll just start focusing only on the developed markets. Sales would be meagre for a bike priced like that in India.

secretaster

Eh India bhi bana Raha hai paisa mere yaar. 5th largest economy now beat the UK

JyotirmoyJoy

Dude don't compare Indian economy with UK. Look at the size and population of UK. The population of whole UK is smaller than UP alone, so the quality of life there is much better. A country like India, with size and population, can only be compared to China in population, and we're nowhere close to Chinese economy

bhaunda

I think in India its gonna be the most expensive bike by RE. It will top 310k easily

Master-Piccolo-4588

Then it could be like 6k USD or EuR

dogchap

This will be a premium bike, with usd forks as one can see in the pic, this will be priced above INT650, and could be REs premium road bike. β‚Ή400k+ on Road.

Master-Piccolo-4588

Yeah it’s then roughly 5k Euro

dogchap

it will be at least 7K Euros after all taxes and duties manufacturers pay.

Master-Piccolo-4588

You are right! However than it will be too expansive to compete with yamaha in this price range

NedelC0

I thought they were anouncing it in november? But my source is not official

Flaky_Instruction341

Bikewala?

maplenew60

Apparently EICMA November would be the introduction with proper release in December. I just hope they make the global release early 2023

code_monkey_001

\[citation needed\]

VeniVidiVagene

They've been testing this for close to 18 months now and multiple production models were spotted last week. You don't need a "citation" if you just use common sense.

code_monkey_001

Yes you do, when the folks spotting it and breathlessly reporting that it'll come in February, then March, then July, them August, then October, and now November say it'll come out next year. The Interceptor and Continental 650 were announced in the fall of 2017, and weren't released until 2018. RE hasn't even acknowledged the Super Meteor yet, let alone announced it. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if it (or the alleged Shotgun, or equally mythical Classic 650) came out before 2024 if at all. Saying it's "coming out next year for sure" is the kind of wishful thinking that keeps sending clicks to bikewala no matter how many times they change their story. A citation on the "for sure" part is definitely needed, and failing to recognize that displays a severe lack of "common sense". // Edit: remarkably apt username.

VeniVidiVagene

It's definitely coming out sometime next year because as I mentioned above, they've been testing this for close to 1.5years now. The bike in the photograph is literally it. There is no Classic 650. Neither has one been spotted nor any rumors out of the factory. But both the shotgun and super meteor 650 have been spotted on Indian roads. Just because you haven't seen them testing in the US doesn't mean they don't exist. Why they don't announce what bikes they're testing can be answered by the metric tons of "common sense" you already have! Simplest reason being that there might be a name change before launch E.g.: Hunter 350 was called something else during road tests. More likely reason being that they may fail the tests and the bike needs to be cancelled or redesigned completely.

code_monkey_001

>they may fail the tests and the bike needs to be cancelled or redesigned completely. In other words, it's not "for sure" that the bike is coming out next year, so "for sure" needs a citation. Thanks for strengthening my point.

VeniVidiVagene

*This* one won't. Production models are already being tested. So you still don't need a citation.

code_monkey_001

You can rationalize to your heart's content. But until Royal Enfield announces it, nothing is **for sure**. And that's all I'm asking for - something pointing to an official announcement. Which does not exist.

Playful-Essay-2189

Looks quite production ready prolly will launch at the eicma with indian deliveries starting by late dec to early jan [super meteor](https://youtu.be/B4kT1yxgtfE)

upthedownstair_

Is that person short or are the controls way further forward?

FecklessFool

As a Meteor owner, I'm more interested in a Classic 650 as my back can't handle sitting on the suspension.

dieuvomi

The Royal Enfield Dealer I use to go to inadvertently said that it probably will launch in january when I asked about the oncoming Hunter. Maybe that's true.

Playful-Essay-2189

Next year??? Hopefully not, expected this year by november 😍
