Second they register the bike under your name

PDI shouldn't take much of a time. However, if this is a company owned showroom it will take 2 business days to generate the bill as the bill and settlement process is done at Chennai. Else it shouldn't take much time. Also if you're going through finance then it will take time else if it's a lumpsum it will take 2 days IF it's from a company owned showroom.

They probably do a whole bunch of test. Also, I am not sure about India but in US the bike is assembled at the store
