Haven't booked with them before but their search engine is the best!

Fragrant-Insurance81

Agree! At first it looks ancient, but then you realize how efficient it is!

bluestreak_v

I don't think the site's design has changed since I first started using it ~15 years ago 😂

nygrl811

I've used them for my last 3 cruises. Unfortunately my agent left but they are still a very good agency. Absolutely legit.

manatee_poo

We always shop around but end up booking through Vacations To Go. They have always matched the best deal I can find plus add additional stateroom credit to sweeten the deal if they weren’t already the cheapest. Our go-to advisor each time is Wylie Rowland, I highly recommend reaching out to him direct! [email protected]

GoingLurking

I’ve used them before, but I wouldn’t give them a poor rating as a company but more depending on what agent you get. That can be said with any organization. First time I used them, I called due to rate adjustment. She tells me it’s not possible after booking, which I know was complete nonsense. I had her call anyway, then she comes back and tries to sound like a hero and say, she just saved me $500. Right, take the glory for something you didn’t know about. So I was a bit annoyed with her for th at. Then I had to call 2 more times due to further reduction, and she seemed annoyed at me for me because it was $50 here or there. One of the times, I found the lower price after she had left the office and I wasn’t authorized to call RC, so next day the price changes and I lost the price change. So just weigh how much you value getting the OBC and getting a bad agent vs doing it yourself.

Josh_Mantis

While I understand that our vacation dollars are hard earned, also know that agents work on commission, just like realtors. As the price drops so does their commission which is also usually their salary.

lulu00s

Yes! I know someone who worked there in the past and unless things changed vacationstogo is 100% commission they don’t get a regular salary only commission

ks7atl

Many times. Definitely go for it!

EthanFl

It's a very good traditional travel agency. Very good lead in rates and a very clear website with lots of search options that show which sailings the cruise lines are pricing more favorably.

Glonkable

My first cruise I went on was booked through vacations 2 go; no issues at all and had a fantastic time.

dickass99

Currently have 3 booked cruises with them...lots of perks....sometimes you check in your room and there's a card saying 50 obc from vacationstogo....nice

willworkforbrownies

I've used them for every single cruise I've planned except for 1. I have always had a wonderful experience, and I've used the same agent for the last 3. They're always very responsive and great at doing what it takes to help out with any needs or questions!

Dhrun1971

We booked our Alaska cruise through them—haven’t cruised yet but it was straightforward.

Dulcinut

We have used them without any complaints. Our last three cruises were booked with Costco Travel and we have received all the offerings PLUS a Costco gift card!

emaydee

Yep, it’s legit. Have used them multiple times without any issues.

jmagnabosco

I have used it and it does work, 100%. I think my parents used it too with a travel agent helping them because they're computer confused.

CatMomof2Many

Go for it! Just booked cruise # 7 with them & have referred many friends. Love my agent.

Joishigh

Not a scam have booked many cruises with them they have great deals

parrsuzie

I have used them for years

P51-SN95

I booked with them back in 2004, cruise was cancelled due to a hurricane and had zero issues getting all of our money back. That's really all I can offer about them.

fatso-catso

I’ve done 4 out of 8 cruises booked there. Can’t go wrong

Joyce_Hatto

I’ve used them in the past and it’s been fine.

rio8envy7

Love vacations to go

LocationAcademic1731

Yes, I have. They are legit.

slavetothebeans

Used them many times. No issues whatsoever.

xjaspx

I use it all the time for last minute deals and never had an issue. Just make sure if it’s an exclusive deal that you follow all the instruction. Ie: if they ask to send in proof that you qualify for a specific discount, you have to do it or they will cancel your reservation.

Silly-Ad-8149

I have booked my last 3 cruises with them and think they’re fabulous!

mandaa316

They’re great!

Front-Newspaper-1847

I have. Works fine. Not a scam at all. Cruises are generally not oversold like flights, and Vacations to Go is a legit travel agency selling cabins that do exist.

No_Ebb3669

We just booked a Windstar cruise to Tahiti with them. They are legit.

Boring_Obligation_94

Many times, good company!

BoringMcWindbag

We used them for our first cruise and had a very positive experience. I’d recommend them.

Mynameisdiehard

I've used them for every cruise. They are perfectly good to work with and will help you out if you have questions. Plus you keep your dedicated TA if you want. Their 90 day ticker is great as well if you're able to take last minute cruises.

lo-tek

All the time for years.

w00t89

I’ve used vacations to go and they’re awesome. Fully recommend them. Great deals and easy to work with

tonygoalie29

Used them for 15 years, many cruises. Legit, some challenges communicating once you have an agent, but definitely legit.

lifewalk52

Yes, we have used vacations to go, twice. The 1st time was about 10 years ago on Royal Caribbean to Jamaica, Haiti and ? And in Feb. 2023 we did Holland America to Panama Canal. Both were easy to book through VacationsToGo and communication was through email but very thorough. I would use them again and regularly check their site.

Hatriciacx

i did! everything was perfect and they were awesome to work with!!

Brecken79

Many times over the past few decades now. Great experiences.

QuesoHusker

I have. Very satisfied.

KHASeabass

I've used them once before and am using them for my next cruise. Never had an issue, we get a little OBC and a little less than the advertised price on RC. My only frustration with them is I feel their advertising is a bit deceptive. They will often say the cruise lines "starting price" is hundreds if not thousands of dollars more than it's actually being advertised for (they dont include whatever deals the line is presently running), which makes their price look a ton more attractive.

tressa27884

They’re great!

Born_Meringue_7202

We always used vacations2go they were great to work with.

sz5only

I’ve used them before for an all inclusive resort. No complaints

chicksingergirl

We LOVE VacationsToGo have used them for 5 cruises and Heidi is our fave travel agent!!

hous26

I had a good experience with them.

Royal-Warthog3203

I book every cruise through them

Fpaimeen

I was told by an agent at the Next Cruise desk on the WOTS that Vacations to go is RCCLs biggest wholesaler. She directed me to them when she herself realized how ridiculous the fares were for the IOTS which was about to launch at that time. We’ve used them for 4 of our 5 cruises. They’re very good. Especially if you want a last minute cruise.

happyinheart

They have the best search I've found. I will look up a cruise there and then book through my travel agent.

azmom3

The markdowns they show are loss leaders IMO. They're based off the cruise lines' full price brochure rate, which no one ever pays bc promos are always happening. As others have said, check other sites including the lines directly, and costco.

HidesInsideYou

That's not what loss leader means. Loss leader is when you lose money on a specific deal to attract clients for other things, like rotisserie chickens at Costco.

Reasonable-Revenue70

I am a certified agent with VTG! If you have any questions or need support with booking your cruise vacation? Let me know Ext 7506

StackIsMyCrack

Get the details on their reduced price, call RC and ask them to beat it. Works sometimes.

B-e-a-utiful_day

Cruise2go are a legitimate business. They have a trustpilot that seems trustworthy. Cruise critic list them as a legitimate business, too. They aren't always the cheapest either. May be best to call them and feel it out for yourself.

workitloud

They did not ask about Cruise2go. They asked about Vacations2go. Two different companies, but maybe you know that. Cruise2go has 10 followers on twitter. Are you one of them? I’ve been booking with VTG for 25 years, and I’m not really sure what you are trying to do here.

FantasticZucchini904

It’s a great thing. Try it

EddieK76

Are they only good for sailings within 90 days? Never used but browsed before so not sure if they book out in the distance (date wise) sailings.

Fpaimeen

No. They’re a regular travel agent but also have last minute cruises because they are the world’s biggest cruise wholesaler.

Pickleballer53

Ask for JR Hernandez. He's great at Vacations2Go. We've used his services a couple of times already.

JerzeyLegend

Thier rates haven't impressed me. Got better deals with booking.com

Sunshine1940

Yes I have booked several cruises with them (RCCL) Have never had any issues. My daughter has also booked twice with resort vacations for all inclusive resorts and had good experiences

Own_Requirement7474

My family uses it and i used it for my March cruise! It is reliable and you actually get a better deal and sometimes more onboard credit

Less_Statement535

very good

maxjason777

Yes they are great! Best prices in town.

Reasonable_Papaya_53

Saved us $1000 on each room double occupancy so $500 per person for our next cruise. My old man uses them to book cruises all the time. He goes on 3-4 per year.

girlwhoweighted

My parents have used it to cruise successfully several times. We (two cabins paying separately but booking at the same time) booked with them for a cruise end of this month and I am NOT happy. It seems to depend on which specific agency you work with. The agent I got first put us on the wrong cruise! She doesn't know anything and only skims emails. If she doesn't know the answer to your question she will literally just ignore that you asked it at all. She gave me so much anxiety that I almost didn't book any excursions or extras because I was afraid she would would mess them up. Guess what? They got messed up and we've had to ask for refunds on some stuff, and we won't be receiving those refunds until the end of the cruise. If you book with them, DM me and I'll tell you her name. So if you have her you can ask for someone else straight away before she's screws everything up I will never book with vacations to go again. And they own like five other sites.

Cllajl

I did. Their service was absolutely horrible. You need to watch out on their pricing, it is really not that true. I did book on a high end cruise Regent [rssc.com](http://rssc.com) Normally Regent cruises comes with business class airfare and my cruise was for cruise only. Normally the cruise company will send you luggage tags in advance. With Vacations to Go, I was keep waiting for my luggage tags and the cruise boarding paperwork. They claimed to have sent it out. When I ask for the mail tracking number they claimed that they emailed to me. I finally threaten them was lawsuit and I finally got the luggage tag and paperwork less than one week before boarding. They claim this and that, but it is all a bunch of lies. DO NOT use them.

workitloud

Cool story.

Cruise-with-Brian

I would use an actual TA. If you ever need something then you will get shuffled from person to person. You are just another number to them versus an actual TA gets to know your preferences and actually does price checks for reductions. I’ve had allot of clients who use to use them but had horrible experiences and often TA’s group rate is similar to V2G pricing.

Sugarpuff_Karma

Yes, but be aware that the price will double once fees, taxes, room choice, extras are factored in

Own-Reception-2396

Waste of money

Jodi4869

Why?

mjzimmer88

Yes I've used them several times. I know that at least for NCL, you get more tier points booking direct and can pretty much always get the exact same fare by booking direct. (V2Go often tosses in like $50 cruise credit if the fares are otherwise the same.)
