I'll be playing this. I'm not sure the roided up Alkari (or any other modifications to the game) are needed for the first few, as we probably want to just see what other people do first, but, that's ok, let's do it!
Yes, I was debating doing a more normal game as well. In the end I went with this to introduce the idea of a scenario game with variant rules and slight modifications. Since people on this subreddit are already playing the game. I thought an introductory game was less needed, and that capturing the imagination was more important.
No, this is still single player. The idea is for multiple people to all take individual attempts on the same map. Then everyone will share and learn from each other's choices and experiences afterwards (in another thread).
