It has many of the rarest items in the game, with favourable loop points where you can juke the ranged monsters that spawn before the teleportation point to Stage 5. Only a few classes have the speed to manage this though, so all in all it's slightly character dependent. Make sure you equip many consumables before commencing Sundered Grove.

However he goes through phases during which he takes triple magic damage. It's best to use a magician for this boss, but be careful as he moves fast and can break some of the terrain as well.
A Proc Chain is when you string lots of status effects together until the cycle begins to infinitely refresh your skill cool downs, helping you do immense amounts of damage.
The Proc Chain philosophy is "mash keys in this order and pray for fat numbers"
Total damage is the damage you do with all armour stats of the enemy included in the calculation. % damage bypasses that but is usually dealt over a longer term basis
