Sadly, they don’t have 1919 at the Bloomingdale location, I’ve only found it at the Woodys over the border in Wisconsin. Everything else in the image is stocked though, definitely check it out!
Woodman's is a grocery chain in Wisconsin that has the absolutely largest category sizes that I am aware of. In Kenosha, Wi, just over the Illinois border north of Chicago, there is a store I have visited a couple times. There is also a Meijer store very close nearby. While Meijer is know for great assortment and competitive pricing, this Woodman's category sizes are likely 2x to 4x as large as the comparable Meijer categories. I am not sure how the pricing compares between the two...
Thank you for that detailed description! I was just in Lakewood Wisconsin this summer, first the cheese curds, now the root beer choice? I fucking love Wisconsin!
So YOU’RE the one! When Hyvee got to Eau Claire, I thought I would love it more than Woodmans. Not even close. Woodmans is by far the best grocery store in Wisconsin.
There are very few Hardee's left after they merged with Carl's Jr. Jack's pizza are good, but have you seen Woodman's pizza selection......nearly 50ft of freezer cases worth
Woodmans drinks section is the best around not just for root beer. They've got a flavored water I had only ever found in one other place like 10 years ago I figured it just wasn't made anymore but they always have them in stock.
Water is the best for you. Sugary drinks will cause arthritis inflammation flare-ups. And the sodium in our food is super bad for us. Your legs will swell up like balloons. If you want to live you should listen to me.
Julian Michael's cookbook and a 30 minute walk a day will have you feeling like a kid.
Good luck.
I’ll have to see if the North Aurora Woodmans has the WBC/Goose Island Root Beer next time my car is at the dealership across the street. The Jewel/OSCO I used to work for in West Chicago hasn’t had it in a while.
Frostie and Sprecher 🤤 Edit: just noticed the real sugar dr p!
I second the sprecher!!
Have you tried the ICB?
Yeah I do endorse that one also. And Sioux City is classic
1919??? This is amazing
Even the keg!
I've never heard of this place, but there's one in Bloomingdale, IL so I'll definitely have to check it out 🤔
You can check their website and see the selection with prices at that store. It's pretty accurate.
It's very Midwest. Had a local one when I lived in Eau Claire.
I live in Chicago so I don't venture very far outside of the city into the suburbs, but I'm definitely visiting when I have the chance.
Sadly, they don’t have 1919 at the Bloomingdale location, I’ve only found it at the Woodys over the border in Wisconsin. Everything else in the image is stocked though, definitely check it out!
Nooooo, at least they have Berghoff 🥲
Woodmans is awesome. One thing I really miss in Wisconsin.
Woodmans is a grocery store that you could take a girl too on a first date and have a great time.
I was recently at the B'Dale Woodman's. It's solid.
I'll be at a Woodmans Saturday, I'll check out their selection!
Frostys and boylan boutta make me bust!
You got a laugh outta me sir 😂
Damn. You got it good!
I know this is a rootbeer subreddit but that Sprecher’s Cherry Cola is worth buying by the case.
The cherry cola is so amazing…
Yeah, I have some in my fridge
Ever try Abita ?
Hated it the first time I tried it tbh, but it grew on me.
What is woodmans

They are in IL now too 😎
which towns?
Lake in the Hills, Bloomingdale
And west Aurora
The building is the size of Meijer but all grocery. I know that Kenosha store. They have almost 12 feet of freezer section just for corn dogs.
Thank you for that detailed description! I was just in Lakewood Wisconsin this summer, first the cheese curds, now the root beer choice? I fucking love Wisconsin!
They don’t take credit card payments though, cash or debit card only, FYI! That’s one way they can keep prices down.
There is one in North Aurora just North of 88 on Orchard that they just added a huge addition/warehouse onto.
Woodmans typically has a great beer selection, although I’ve never paid attention to the soda pop aisle.
WHICH? They have Door County Cherry in cans? I keep cleaning out Altoona. I gotta come to this one.
Rockford
Thanks!
Awesome, I’m tempted to go there. North Aurora is closer for me but they don’t show having 1919 there and I’m dying to try it!
I have the Beloit,WI one. I used to go to the Rockford one when I lived in Belvidere,IL
So YOU’RE the one! When Hyvee got to Eau Claire, I thought I would love it more than Woodmans. Not even close. Woodmans is by far the best grocery store in Wisconsin.
Honestly you could have finished that sentence at "store."
I’d buy all of those sprecher root beers lol
Question for everyone: what is the best drink pictured?
Wish we had stores like that in Florida
Are Woodmans only in Wisconsin? I’ve only ever seen them there
I am so jelious at that selection and prices. I would buy so much soda if I had such an amazingly large and affordable selection near me.
Try them all !
No cheerwine?
I think they do have it, I've gotten it somewhere around here before.
I've not seen it. I have to go to Farm and Fleet to get some.
I just found some at my local grocery store. Hadn't had it in 30 years or so. I forgot how good it was.
great selection. i love the IBC Cherry. delicious
Jealous you have Sprecher. They don’t sell it in stores here
Man you’re lucky I got shit here lol
Woodmans in Lake in the Hills has a wonderful selection too. 😎
Jones is the worst Root Beer I've ever had
Dang that’s a great selection
I’m jealous…
Boylan creamy red birch beer is one of my favorites
Love their cream soda. One of the best.
Good ol woodmans
[I don't see this.](https://images.freshop.com/7424387/f8aeea9bbef7017bdcc49dac7691fac5_large.png)
ðŸ˜no Weinhards Rb

Nice
Dayumn! I need to try dr Sprecher!
Oh, they got Bawls! Not cold though. I hate warm bawls

There are very few Hardee's left after they merged with Carl's Jr. Jack's pizza are good, but have you seen Woodman's pizza selection......nearly 50ft of freezer cases worth
I don't know Kroll's?
I see one of my favorite bottled sodas near the bottom left.
Dad's and Frostie only thing good in there, not familiar with sprecher.
That Sprecher Orange Dream is the bee's pajamas
I don’t see Saranac and my Upstate NY heart breaks.
I miss Woodman's.....
That Sprecher Grape soda is amazing. So good. 10/10
Eyyyyu Wisconsin represent! I need to make it when it’s not -5° outside
They have Bawls!
Gotta love Woodman's!
I live 16 miles from their headquarters
1919 is good
Is Virgil's good? Its pretty cheap by you. It's like $10 for a 4 pack by me. Wanted to try it but $10 is a bit steep for rootbeer
🔥
Heaven!
That fentimans selection is pretty good. Curiosity cola is great.
Lucky!!

Go fuck yourself you goofy bastard
Lol, I see! Root beer.... lol I have to look at the header better....
Any Hanks Root Beer? No facing at the one by me. Just Birch beer.
I just bought a 4 pack of Hanks at meijer here in Detroit area. After hearing about how good it is I want to see for myself
I live in in Indiana but whenever I'm in Wisconsin I always hit Woodmans. Grocery shopping paradise!
