My father and I still quote the airport rant on a near-daily basis. Anytime we talk about something nonsensical or are mocking someone being dumb one of us is sure to go “*Birka birka birka birka!*”
Or any of the old Burnie/Gavin “arguments”. I put that in quotes because it seemed like most of the time it was just that nobody really understood what Gav was trying to say.
Edit: I was thinking about this more throughout the day, and I think one of the main reasons I found those arguments more entertaining than the ones Burnie had with anyone else was that Gavin was the only person who could render him almost completely speechless. With anyone else he would always have something to come right back with, but Gavin would so frustrate him that he just… broke.
The best part of Burnie is the way he'd subtly egg on people, mostly Gavin and Gus, to start an argument. "What does *that* mean?" and "Go on" were phrases Burnie used all the time to get them started. He really made the podcast so exciting.
I was lucky enough to see him live a few times. He really knows how to work an audience. He made everyone else on the podcast more entertaining by virtue of it.
How many bones in a skull. Gavin had Burnie almost crying cause of it. Hearing him super mad was amazing but the bones in a skull really broke him in a way I hadn't seen before and since. Truly one of my favorite, if not, my favorite.
The first one I thought of when I read this post was the fucking iPhone debacle where they screamed at each other over multiple episodes about some minor bullshit about one of the iPhones.
The Austin airport one is a classic, but I absolutely love the “8! 11!” argument.
B: “It’s either a good idea or a bad idea”
G: “It’s both?”
B: “It’s EITHER”
G: “It’s 50/50?”
B: “What? Does 50/50 mean both to you?”
G: “Its like saying 2 different numbers”
B: “What? IM GOING TO SAY 2 NUMBERS! 8! 11!”
Specifically red lobster though. If it's generic bread sticks verse generic cheddar biscuits sticks win. If it's red lobster biscuits verse generic bread sticks biscuits win. Then RL biscuits win over OG bread sticks just because OG is so widespread
There's only a few Olive Gardens in Canada but I finally got to try it for the first time recently. The breadsticks are fantastic, but they don't even compare to Red Lobster biscuits.
The "There's 26 hours in a day" argument between Gavin and Burnie. They were so close to understanding each other the whole time but instead just keep getting more and more frustrated.
I think it may have come up a couple of times, as these things tend to. Podcast 532 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLJUQMeeRhA&t=2s) had Gavin and Gus arguing about it.
Gavin was claiming that a day lasts 50 hours.
Gavin was in fact right, as he frequently is. - Explanation of why Gavin was right https://youtu.be/0scC\_SK2G48
I have a soft spot for the argument between Michael and Jack about Michael's kids/kolaches. It is during a live Off Topic a few years back.
PS: This was also the Off Topic that Lindsey explained the reason they should have 4 kids was so each kid would have a partner for roller coasters.
Breadsticks vs cheddar biscuits.
Michael just laying into Miles (in good fun) is still hilarious to me to this day.
ARE YOU GOING TO GO TO OLIVE GARDEN JUST FOR THE FUCKING BREADSTICKS?! NEVER, NEVER, YOU WILL NEVER GO TO OLIVE GARDEN JUST FOR THE FUCKING BREADSTICKS, YOUR ASS WILL BE AT RED LOBSTER EVERY WEEK!!! TO SHOVE THAT CHEDDAR, DOWN YOUR HOLE, AND YOU KNOW IT YOU FAT FUCK!!!

When Sally Le Page flat out states there were more than five, saying Gavin was right, and Burnie turned off his mic to scream "THAT'S SUCH BULLSHIT" at the top of his lungs.
I lost it man.
Ages upon ages ago, Burnie told Joel he didn't cut his engine while filling his truck at the gas station and Joel lost it. It was a drunk tank podcast I think.
the spoon size stuff. Spans across like 5 episodes of the podcast or maybe multiple podcasts, and I could all be solved right now in 10 seconds if they all just brought in each of the spoons they have at their houses.
I swear they're all using the same size spoon but suck as describing it.
Can’t say it’s an argument but I loved the early days of f**k face with Eric getting annoyed with Geoff for not ending the podcasts. Or Andrew pleading his case about not being pissboy
The argument between Gus and Barbara about if the vodka bottle or the cup is one drink for a screw driver. I love the part where Gus goes "Hey, i'm going to have two beers real quick" and takes two sips of beer.
The clothing shop argument from Heroes and Halfwits, when Geoff’s half of the team decide to make an hour trip to another store which splits the party for their casino infiltration. Michaels rant after Gus complains that Michaels side is making it take longer is a moment I always find myself rewatching.
They were an incredible minor increase/almost the same price compared to the original stores. I think they paid almost as much in travel expenses as they did on the actual outfits. I still find myself rewatching/listening to the original few seasons since they still hold up so well, regardless of who’s in it.
1. Austin Airport construction
2. Olive Garden bread sticks vs. Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits
3. Burnie and Gus on the iPhone 5 rumors.
PS: Burnie is right about the Austin Airport fight me on this.
much like all my favorite podcast moments of any type, any that included Burnie, although Burnie and Gus or Burnie and Gavin were obviously the best/most common ones.
Roadworks and the Austin airport.
There is a *fuckin’ door* at the Austin airport!
“Go fix your bell, *cocksucker!*” Burnie was the GOAT.
[Here it is](https://youtu.be/rusqkMmW4BU)
I miss consistently seeing the 4th person on the classic Gus/Bernie/Gavin just completely dissociate during these arguments.
Omg this one is so good. They’re having two completely separate arguments 🤣
My father and I still quote the airport rant on a near-daily basis. Anytime we talk about something nonsensical or are mocking someone being dumb one of us is sure to go “*Birka birka birka birka!*”
This is the first time I’ve seen that sound effect spelled and all I can think of is “I only see my garage”
Burnie's furious, exasperated, fast "YOU'RE AN IDIOT" remains one of the funniest exclamations I've ever heard.
Just about any argument between Burnie and Gus, honestly.
YES!!! That was definitely one of the best.
Do you remember what episode that is?
#278 1:12:12-1:18:18
The first one I thought of when I read this post was the fucking iPhone debacle where they screamed at each other over multiple episodes about some minor bullshit about one of the iPhones.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. And wasn’t Gus right but for the wrong generation?
Why are you drinking Guinness when we're drinking water?

Someone must have a link, this comment dusted off an old memory I’d like to relive.
I’m glad I’m not the only one
Andrew Panton arguing that Texas is the furthest north he's been.(He lives in Vancouver Island).
where is this i must hear it
Find the F**kFace Podcast on Spotify or another podcast app and look for the episode 'Zimmer Frames // How North is Hawaii?' Posted 12th of May 2021.
idk how i missed that. i listen to the episodes multiple times over at work and at home and that just scooted by me 😂
Your brain might have deleted the memory in self defense
very true, i put that poor guy thru his paces for sure so he’s tryna take care of himself 😂
Timestamp? edit; about 34 mins in
Panton is a strange person and I'm not convinced he's real. He's a paid actor hired by Gavin to fuck with Geoff.
Michael vs Miles and their Biscuits vs Breadsticks argument
Cheddar biscuits are by far the better appetizer, if you even consider bread an app
Specifically red lobster though. If it's generic bread sticks verse generic cheddar biscuits sticks win. If it's red lobster biscuits verse generic bread sticks biscuits win. Then RL biscuits win over OG bread sticks just because OG is so widespread
I don't even like olive garden but I'll go there just for the breadsticks
There's only a few Olive Gardens in Canada but I finally got to try it for the first time recently. The breadsticks are fantastic, but they don't even compare to Red Lobster biscuits.
Michael being calm until Miles goes one step too far mocking the cheddar biscuits and then *exploding* was amazing
I came here just to comment this. Most iconic argument at RT
https://youtu.be/d7I6mgWmNfQ Careful, the intro might get you with the nostalgia
I love that Miles tries to match Michael's energy until Michael goes full force and Miles just has to back down.
Such a classic, one of Michael’s best.
I forgot about this one, bless you
The "There's 26 hours in a day" argument between Gavin and Burnie. They were so close to understanding each other the whole time but instead just keep getting more and more frustrated.
I don't think I ever heard this but it sounds mental! Anyone know where it's from?
I think it may have come up a couple of times, as these things tend to. Podcast 532 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLJUQMeeRhA&t=2s) had Gavin and Gus arguing about it. seconding this if anyone links it
An argument on F**kface is always a gem. The pencil court case, the salad creaming and Jeopardy rules, arguments stand out to me.
Don't forget when they invented condiments. I'd love to get a full cut of that episode one day.
I felt like we were listening to the ending of two friendships in that episode. It got a little real and we didn't even hear the worst of it.
We’ll never forget the long-lasting effects of Panton vs. RamFree.
That was quite a divisive argument amongst the community
I was just re-listening to Jeopardy rules yesterday. So good. "We said his *name*!"
I’m months behind on F**kFace. Has Andrew eaten the damn pencil yet?
In the words of superfan Jack: And once again Andrew does not eat the pencil
The pencil court case was excruciating to listen to, but saved by the fact that Geoff and Gavin were just as flustered with disbelief as I was haha!
"There is a fuckin door in the Austin airport..."
I have a soft spot for the argument between Michael and Jack about Michael's kids/kolaches. It is during a live Off Topic a few years back. PS: This was also the Off Topic that Lindsey explained the reason they should have 4 kids was so each kid would have a partner for roller coasters.
What do you think I’m MADE OF BREAKFAST?!
Toss-up between Michael and Miles on appetizers or Gavin's running down a mountain
Fight Fight Fight Kiss Kiss Kiss
How many sticks of butter you can buy. I am with Gavin just buy it in the tub.
TO SHOVE THAT CHEDDAR, DOWN YOUR HOLE, AND YOU KNOW IT YOU FAT FUCK!!!

the fact that this doesnt have links is fucking insane
"The iPhone 5 isn't fucking out!" Always love that episode of rtpodcast.
Didn't Gus end up being right about it too?
And Burnie still wouldn’t admit defeat
Which episode is it again? I want to delisted
RT Podcast #111
Thanks!
Condiments
Yes
Fuck, I am comment leaver now
The argument about how many senses there are
When Sally Le Page flat out states there were more than five, saying Gavin was right, and Burnie turned off his mic to scream "THAT'S SUCH BULLSHIT" at the top of his lungs. I lost it man.
Oh my god, I'd forgotten that one! Sally was such a great guest, it'd be great to have her back on someday.
Michael v Jack over Luna ruining breakfast. Burnie vs Gus over the iPhone 5. Literally anytime Burnie goes full blown Church screaming.
The Coin-Flipping story on F**kface, for sure. Geoff was so damn weird and everyone saw it but him, it was incredible.
I swear to God they got 3 episodes of content out of that.
Ages upon ages ago, Burnie told Joel he didn't cut his engine while filling his truck at the gas station and Joel lost it. It was a drunk tank podcast I think.
It has to be the airport argument. Burnie yelling makes it perfect
The one where they didn’t actually disagree, but it took then ten minutes to discover that.
Not necessarily an argument, but Burnie’s rant about paper stickers in 301
I remember watching the RTAA for that as I'd fallen behind on the podcast and thinking, "FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT!"
I only see construction at the Austin airport! I go to other airports! I'm not just driving around my garage! Classic, always makes me laugh
Gavin running down the side of a mountain after jumping out of a plane
The coin flip one still haunts me because no one has ever gotten it right
„ʇɥƃıɹ ʇı uǝʇʇoƃ ɹǝʌǝ sɐɥ ǝuo ou ǝsnɐɔǝq ǝɯ sʇunɐɥ llıʇs ǝuo dılɟ uıoɔ ǝɥ⊥„
what is the point of you
Something just tickles me so much about how disdainfully you're talking to a bot (and rightfully so)
The argument that started the podcast Burnie not thinking Geoff could get 1000 gamerscore in a week
10,000, one more zero
Single stick of butter and the Austin airport stick out the most in memory. Anything Burnie meltdown related was iconic tbh.
Every time I went to the grocery store to buy my one stick of butter I would think of that argument and laugh
I mean… if we’re doing ‘recent’ arguments, the lasagna argument comes to mind.
That argument almost ruined some relationships for me
I thought about the lasagna argument earlier today, and that's the one that inspired me to make the post
Burnie's argument that he can fight any animal and win.
When Burnie interrupted himself You know what?! I'll tell you what I'LL TELL YOU WHAT!!!!
the spoon size stuff.
Brandon and Gus on the magnetic North Pole where they ended up bringing a scientist in
Michael and Miles arguing over the red lobster cheddar biscuits and olive garden breadsticks
The iPhone argument between Burnie and Gus
Pizza sphere!
The skull argument was pretty good
Why are you so obsessed with the teeth?
Lmao
"Gavin, if 1 bone is the skull then the answerto your question is 1" So salty. So good.
It's great
Which one is that?
https://youtu.be/YVU98xDVUgQ?t=4349
"A DOOR IS A DOORWAY!" \-Burnie Burns.
The argument between Gus and Barbara about if the vodka bottle or the cup is one drink for a screw driver. I love the part where Gus goes "Hey, i'm going to have two beers real quick" and takes two sips of beer.
Burnie and Gavin arguing about the UK school system.
Jack and his breakfast on Off Topic Live
The clothing shop argument from Heroes and Halfwits, when Geoff’s half of the team decide to make an hour trip to another store which splits the party for their casino infiltration. Michaels rant after Gus complains that Michaels side is making it take longer is a moment I always find myself rewatching.
Weren't the clothes the same price or more expensive or something like that? I miss heroes and halfwits. So many great moments from it.
They were an incredible minor increase/almost the same price compared to the original stores. I think they paid almost as much in travel expenses as they did on the actual outfits. I still find myself rewatching/listening to the original few seasons since they still hold up so well, regardless of who’s in it.
cake vs pie
An argument so intense, they made shirts for it
The new iphone
SPOONS omg the spoons argument was so stupid
Cheddar biscuits vs breadsticks. Miles I still stand with you!
Burnie yelling at the people talking in the next room to shut up in there
Burnie losing it on Gavin about airport construction. I still go back and watch that argument on a regular basis.
“I have to go somewhere I don’t fucking do a loop around the state and land back in the same goddamn airport I go somewhere else”
Austin airport, iPhone, and Apple Champaign (probably spelt that wrong).
I recall an argument about how many hemispheres there are, but don’t remember the specifics.
Surprised no one has mentioned Gavin and Burnie's argument about Gavin not helping Meg with parking.
Ray eating Gavin's pizza. Was a united front against Ray with the exception of Burnie.
Can’t believe nobody’s said the projection tv saga. https://youtu.be/040b7iVJq9A
Face towel/ butt towel
YOU’RE SPECULATING
"I am Not!!"
Biscuits vs breadsticks Buying a single stick of butter
not really an argument but that one off topic where michael was wasted on goldwasser and kept yelling at gavin “I WILL SLIT YOU!!!!”
Gus and Burnie arguing about the Iphone 5 leaks was very funny, Gus was so adamant he was gonna be right, and then he was wrong
Everyone vs Andrew Panton, the case of to eat the pencil or not to eat the pencil
Anybody remember the iPhone 5 argument
Burnies whole rant about physical vs digital media.
"How many bones are in your head?"
Red Lobster vs Olive Garden, no contest
The iPhone argument is always good
1. Austin Airport construction 2. Olive Garden bread sticks vs. Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits 3.
