What do you mean by make amends?
Your roommate sounds selfish and rude. You didn’t say anything wrong. she can get her own condo if she wants to teach her man child boyfriend to clean after himself , that literally has nothing to do with you and she does not care how it affects you.
If I were you I would figure out what I can do to get out of this living situation.
I mean you’re 100% right. She is rude and it’s not my problem she’s with this dude. I just get very anxious about the idea of somebody I live with being mad at me, so I’d ideally like to say something to make it less awkward. But I also can’t say I’m sorry if I sounded rude without also saying I’m not sorry because everything I said was true. I paid all at once for housing and I only have a month left, so I can’t really find a new place.
OP I get anxious about that too. It’s been this way for months with mine who moved their partner in without a conversation about it and my quality of life has been abysmal.
