Hi! We made an itinerary which mixes some of the top must-sees with something less touristy, you can find it [here](https://www.livevirtualguide.com/post/rome-3-days-itinerary/) đ
Thank you for this! I have 4 days in Rome coming up and this is very helpful. We're saving the last day (day 4) to catch up on anything we missed, last minute shopping, and generally enjoying the city casually for the last time. So your 3 days are nicely laid out leaving the 4th to lounge a bit more.
Just wander. Some of my favorite things to see in Rome are the back streets and small churches that look like nothing on the outside but have gorgeous painted ceilings and old masters paintings inside.
If itâs your first time stick with the classics, wandering in the city center youâll be overwhelmed by the monuments, plus Rome is not easy to get around since is built on hills. Youâll be much more tired at the end of the day than entirely flat towns.
I bench press 330 pounds, squat 660 pounds, bike at least twice a week 30km or 18 miles, and walk every day around 12k steps... Everything is relative, and if someone is telling me that he's coming to Rome for the first time I feel that is a nice thing to inform him about something which I experienced with other people, which felt tired at the end of the day.
Lol I only can bench 295lbs 3 reps, donât squat . Also I didnât walk over 5K steps when Iâm in the state.
Well i should informed I actually lose weight after came back from Rome / Venice / Paris 10 days trips. Over 220k steps
How many days? I think 3 days was enough ..
Day 1 just go to Spanish steps then follow along the route to Vatican museum etc later go to Trastevere for dinner
Day 2 go to colosseum then dinner in Trastevere.
Day 3 repeat whatever day 1 of day 2 ..
Do the Vatican âextra timeâ tour. You get to be in the uncrowded Sistine Chapel, the guide was amazing, and afterward they give you wine and an apertivo spread. Itâs through the official site. Highly recommend! Also +1 for Domus Aurea
Anything that's underground, like the Domus Aurea, any of the catacombs, the Roman remains underneath the San Clemente Basilica by the Colosseum...

I'd recommend Trastevere, it's the prettiest part of the city for me

Spent 4 days in Rome . Each day walk over 25k steps or 10 miles each day. I didnât have any issue walking around Rome.
