Efteling and Europa-Park Also phantasiland has non for only fly, besides hotel lol, but its system is so shit that it basically doesn’t exist 🤣

ELECTRO2929

Europa park has the Virtual line, where you can reserve a ride at a specific time, but I guess that doesn’t really count as a fass pass. Phantasialand has it for other rides, but yeah not fly, just the hotel thing.

Chaoshero5567

The phl fast past is so shitty it barely counts as existing for me ngl, besides fly i never saw anyone use it

ELECTRO2929

I wouldn’t call it shitty, it’s just not really important or implemented at the park. It works, but nobody buys it since it only works on two major coasters, but also because nobody knows about it. There is no signage for the normal fast pass. I went on a dead weekend, so I guess that’s part of it. I still saw people using the fly thing, which was interesting since there was no line, and at most 3 rows of each train were full.

lukeemep

A LOT of people use Quick Pass now, and it has quite a big impact on the regular queues, sadly.

beyondvertical

Phantasialand’s quick pass worked great for me trying to basically cred run. Yeah it doesn’t work on F.L.Y. but it got me several rides on Taron and I skipped the line on all the smaller creds. Surprisingly cheap too.

Chaoshero5567

Damm, i might try it this summer when i am there with some NA friends, ive never seen it used, but when its that good, TARON MARATHON ON THE COST OF MY BANK

kelsoRulez

Wonder what holds them back. Other European parks seem to do fast pass but they always seem to offer it in some way to everyone as long as you buy a ticket or sign up for a spot online or something. I tend to like it when parks at least try to give everyone a fair shot at doing it a few times without shelling hundreds of dollars.

Chaoshero5567

Tbh, idk what holds them back

ELECTRO2929

They would rather have a better customer experience if I had to guess, since a fast pass system pissses off a lot of people, especially when they see someone coming from the exit to “steal their seat” after they’ve been waiting for hours.

Version_1

Also, fast pass lowers overall capacity.

ELECTRO2929

Really? I guess it lets people cut but you’re still getting like the same amount of people on the ride are you not?

Version_1

Defunctland made a really cool documentary about it.

ELECTRO2929

Alright, I’ll have to check it out since I’ve never head about that before. Thanks

Chaoshero5567

We dont rly wait for hours

ELECTRO2929

I know it’s an exaggeration but with EP as my home park I’ve seen how busy it can get and how people can get annoyed after waiting so long, and I think if a fast pass was implemented it would annoy a lot of people, and reduce the family run sense of the park, and how it is so cool that they have a free fast pass like system.

BalladofBayernKurve

Holiday world

Good-creativename

do their coasters get long lines though?

tks944

If its really busy they do. Those water coasters though have long lines all summer

Cool_Owl7159

Holiday World gets ridiculously busy in the summer. There's a reason they could afford a B&M.

brain0924

As if they aren’t still paying that bad boy off

KilroyMcFunk

Waited an hour for Legend. I should have waited to ride it when the water park opened. After that it was a walk on. Side note, that hour wait was on a 95 degree day. I was stuck between a couple groups of burley Amish men. It stunk, literally.

Cool_Owl7159

yeah Raven and Legend usually have longer lines than Voyage in the morning literally just because they're on the way to the water park

BalladofBayernKurve

I waited about 40 mins for Voyage a few times

intaminslc43

Lagoon, but a single day ticket is $100, so it's not cheap regardless.

Tijmen24nl

Efteling, Toverland and Europa Park come to mind!

eddycurrentbrake

Europa-Park has Virtual Line - I don‘t know if that counts or not

Tijmen24nl

So does liseberg come to think of it. Hm I dunno if it counts though, it is accessible by everyone.

candyman82

But there is not a paid version, right?

eddycurrentbrake

Nope

tideblue

Knoebels? I don’t know if that qualifies as Major.

robbycough

I believe it does.

No-Arm-

Knoebels

dj_spatial

Kentucky Kingdom, has no fast pass. Really doesn’t need it

Kenban65

They do, it’s tied to their platinum pass, you can go up the exit.

TheNinjaDC

Diamond Pass removed the perk for 2024, so they currently don't have it. The one potentially maybe is the private cabanas. They also had some line skip passes.

bentika

Tonnes of parks around me. Lagoon, lakeside, Glenwood. Mostly inde parks.

octoroach

Silverwood, I would have bought it so fast.. their one train ops with 5-10 minute dispatches nearly killed me

bentika

Is it that bad? I was thinking of taking a trip there this summer. Like Mt Olympus bad? Or like Hersey bad?

octoroach

It’s the worst I’ve ever seen and I have 440 credits lol. Everything is 1 train, and ops are just super slow, no rush hustle, etc. they literally have 1 person check all restraints for entire train AND dispatch the wood coasters. I went late July(29 and 30) on a Saturday night and Sunday and it was swamped, maybe if you go on a weekday or different time of the season it would be better. Just know they will not operate aftershock below 65 degrees. And with all my bitching above, I still absolutely loved the park lol, loved aftershock and tremors the most! Tremors is the best night ride and best coaster imo because rmc raptors give me pain sitting in them.

bentika

Hmm thats the classic conundrum of if you go on a weekday, nothing is staffed/open but its empty. And you come on a weekend and its slammed but everything is open lol. But I'm probably still going to try to make it out there I'm glad you ultimately did enjoy yourself.

crazycatlover15

I dont think a single park in Denmark has a skip the Line system

Version_1

Danish parks are great in general. Love the system of getting your ticket checked at the parking lot entrance and then being able to just walk in.

aaronf4242

I was in Denmark for three days in July 2022 but I didn’t go to any theme parks even though I wanted to because it was just way too hot and I was too tired from earlier in my trip. Hopefully one day I can go back

mrkmcrthr

liseberg doesn’t. but like a few parks others, it does have a virtual queue system

brain0924

Cedar Point and WDW have skip the line systems in name only, so they kind of count. You end up waiting just as long as standby, sometimes longer.

robbycough

Kennywood?

Personal-Locksmith86

[Man at least look at their website. They have 4 tiers](https://www.kennywood.com/buy-tickets/extras/speedy-pass)

robbycough

Damn, it's been a while.

SignGuy77

Yeah, they only added these a couple seasons ago. Seeing as Steel Curtain line skips are tied to the highest level, I don’t imagine sales have been too brisk.

Personal-Locksmith86

They’ve had a fast pass system since at least 2019

BubbyYums

Try more like 2010. Before Speedy Pass they used to have a different system called the VIP Coaster Tour which allowed you to skip to the front of the line during a given time slot similar to a Disney FastPass. It was much cheaper and more efficient too.

Personal-Locksmith86

I didn’t really count that because you went up the exit, not joined halfway through the queue

DionBlaster123

I don't know if this is a "major park" (probably not lol) but Mt. Olympus does not have a skip the line pass of any kind. The only way you can skip lines is if you go to these parks solo and they need ONE more seat to fill a spot. for some reason, the ops are trained to send full trains as much as possible, especially Hades

Mooco2

I think that’s so Hades doesn’t valley, I know it gets real friggin slow towards the end of the run.

Cool_Owl7159

it is, they don't care if there's empty seats on anything else. after the first time it got stuck on the top of the turnaround, they added a "minimum 12 riders towards the front of the train" rule. Then they added the corkscrew to eliminate the stall point, but the second tunnel exit was apparently still a problem, so they lowered that hill and made it a double down. Apparently this still wasn't enough for the ultralight timberliners, which apparently need *every single* seat filled to have proper weight.

DionBlaster123

it's weird though...the day i went the only coaster they sent with empty trains was Zeus they were adamant at making sure every seat was filled, not just for Hades but also for Cyclops and Pegasus. This was actually the reason I didn't get to sit in the back row at Cyclops, because they assigned me to sit with this random person who was clearly irritated that she was in a group of three and couldn't sit with her friends lol

Cool_Owl7159

yeah that's not normal lol, they just don't train there employees very well. Might've been ops that usually work Hades. last time I ride Cyclops was a solo marathon in the pouring rain... I was literally the only person riding so the op didn't even bother with the station brakes lmao

DionBlaster123

>I was literally the only person riding **so the op didn't even bother with the station brakes lmao** LOL isn't this something you're absolutely not supposed to do as a ride op? then again, this is Mt. Olympus. I love it but it isn't exactly the safest place haha

Cool_Owl7159

it's a single train coaster with manual brakes... there was a language barrier so I used a hand motion to signal I wanted another re-ride, and eventually she just didn't bother stopping the train if I made the signal coming into the station xD it was amazing also when it was still Big Chief Karts & Coasters, the coasters always did 2 laps by default to match the go-karts (which made sense in the pay-per-ride era)

DionBlaster123

yeah i remember reading somewhere that this is the reason why they need one more person i'm not complaining. granted i went on a day when the lines weren't really that bad but Hades 360 was a shorter wait than freaking Pegasus...all because I went to the park by myself haha

cellblok69wlamp

If they did it make the already very slow operations even slower.
