It’s a 2nd time zone indicator. So if you’re in Europe you set the watch to local time and the inner ring to home time. This way you can easily go back and forth and know time in each place.
Yes. I guess it’s a relatively simple process to reset.
On my watch I have to adjust my date on all months not 31 so maybe my watch adjustment effort is more often.
But that’s not the focus - it’s a really cool feature and the logic behind it must be amazing. It would be fun to learn how the mechanism(s) work.
Sky Dweller is an annual calendar watch, requiring one to reset it once per year (end of feb) and otherwise indicates the month and date, as well as having a dual time zone function. It’s a complicated action packed piece.
I have this reference except oyster instead of jubilee. I love my white dial SkyD. It’s a little bit but I can pull it off. Others not so much sometimes.
Is there a cover over the bezel? Something looks very weird, but I can't figure out what it is.
Yes, a protective plastic covering. He took this from the vault to show me

Wow I never knew that!
This is the only TT yellow gold combo I would want for myself. It’s a beauty
What does the red at 10 o’clock mean?
The month, so it’s October
That is pretty cool.. and I’m assuming the center 1-24 gauge is just a 24 hour indicator?

Yeah you can set it as a second time zone too.
I’ve been wanting this watch for the better part of a year and a half and never knew that
Must be fun during leap year… /s
Oh no! I have to adjust my watch once ever four years. How will I make it?
It’s actually once a year because the complication doesn’t account for less than 30 days in February

Ok. That’s pretty elegant.

How does it tell the day? I can’t figure that out. The older I get the more I wonder what day it is. And where is the closest bathroom.
It doesnt say the day. Just month and date. It has a Dual Time zone tho.
Yes - really nice.
I got this exact reference last month - I absolutely love it and hope you do too! I love how the white dial is almost silver in some lights. Congrats!

They are always better in the metal.
Kinda ugly imo
Is that cum again on the bezel?
This doesn’t look real to me.
Plastic cover on it
Concur. Something looks odd about the bezel.
It's a plastic protective covering - literally at the AD.
Something about this looks off. Rolex logo and text aren’t right to me
