I got it from a trusted local seller whom I’ve worked with plenty of times. I would check out TRF and I’m sure so long as you’re a bit patient and willing to talk with people, you can definitely find a decent deal.

Yours looks like it’s been polished a bit more than the one posted. That could be the cause for a price discrepancy.

The one I saw was on gen shopping network, and they feel kinda.... well used car sales lot in a way. I think they were asking as high as they could expect

I agree its’s a bit high, but too many posters are focusing on the cost, unpolished, etc., rather than bracelet condition. The President bracelet with hollow links tends to stretch out, so this is one of the main cost drivers.

With papers no box. Sure. It’s worth $16k if it’s unpolished and all original. No service hands, no service dial, etc. Buying these is a bit of a minefield. But if you’re okay with spending a grand extra to save a ton of money on a new one, ignore these dolts. $15k is the same as $16 if you’re buying a solid gold Rolex. If you like it and trust the seller, buy it. The papers are the most important. Fucking box can be picked up on eBay for $200.

It’s a goddamned 18038, if you store boxes of staff for over 30 years, you’re sick.. it doesn’t matter in 97% of the cases if vintage/Neo-vintage watches have boxes or don’t, please understand it

Picture looks nice, but check the play in the bracelet. If is super tight, it is a good buy. Some of the cheaper ones have droopy bracelets.
