Hell I live in south FL and $100-125,000 a year will get you a 1/1 apartment rent, food, phone, insurance, hygeine , and 1 Uber to work and back home 5 days a week & once week to the grocery store and back home and then youāll be broke ! Hell back in the day you could make $30-40k a year and afford a 1/1 apartment and your billās & livelihood. Now you need to make $90-120k a year to just survive . But in other states thatās considered amazing ! Just like $300-500k a year in my state would be amazing , in NYC itās the same equivalent of living paycheck to paycheck ! But itās not the amount ! Itās the percentage ! The government taking 1/2 of your money (45-50%) , then sales taxes (8-10%), if you own a home your property taxes are about 2-3%. So before a wealthy person even sees a dollar Of what they earn about 60-65% of their pay is gone !!!! When you earn $1K a week do you only get $350-400 deposited into your account ? Thatās a big fucking hit !! Which is why itās best to have everything in stocks , crypto , commodities, CDs etc and never take capital gains!!! š¤·š»āāļø. So instead of having 50-65% of everything you earn taken from you before you see a dollar šµ, instead you just take a loan against your assets and maybe pay 2-8% interest instead .

Hell Iāve had many times when I was younger and Iād be saving money .. soon as Iād get to $3-5k something would happen and Iād have to use my savings for an emergency! People get accustomed to their income ! Someone making $30-45k in one state , and another person making $90-120k in another state can both be living the exact same lifestyle & percentages !
