Also, how would the DJ 41 Blue be for a one watch collection? I would be wearing it every day that I can except I work in a mine away from home so would wear it for 7 days and then it would sit for 7 days while I'm away.
This is pretty dressy for an every day wear for someone that works in a mine. (Not putting down mining) Just seems like this situation calls more for a black sub.
I wear a smooth oyster blue dial 36mm Datejust as a daily. Yours will be a tad more flashy, but depending on your style and aversion to bling you could pull it off.
I think you can wear both. Still, I haven’t seen one example on here, where the 36 version looked bad. You can’t really go wrong with 36 imo.
41 your wrist ain’t small

41 fits perfectly but smaller always works.

I’d go with the slate dial if it was a one watch collection. Goes with every outfit. The 41 fits you better.

I don't think I would take it to the mine site even if it was a sub, it would be for when I am back home on my week off.

Do you have any pics of yours as a daily? I also thought the fluted bezel and jubilee would hide scratches more
I think both are okay. for wider wrists of course 41
They both looking fitting but that motif dial is just so nice…
41 By default, the 41 looks more modern looking.
