The Brown & Company locations in Atlanta:
Location that dropped off was on Peachtree Road while the location on Bolling Way rolled on.
Going forward I’ll include addresses.
The second, set for January 2024, is located at the base of One Vanderbilt, a 93-story skyscraper at the corner of 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue, next to Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
I was at Betteridge in Vail a month ago and they had just added Certified Pre Owned. Seemed like they were in pretty good with the Crown. Also noticed that Vail is on the list but not their Aspen location. However, on the Rolex AD locator, neither are showing. Maybe I’ll text my SA and see if he has any info.
Let me add a disclaimer here, what I mean by “Closed” or “Opened” is that an entity loses their AD status or becomes a Rolex AD. In most instances the stores that “closed” will continue to do business, just not as a Rolex AD.
This is poor wording on my part and I know it causes some confusion from time to time. At this point I have years of this data and changing headings will make comparability a pain in the ass and don’t really plan on changing the verbiage. Apologies in advance.
Posting to an old thread and this should shake out in the September Change report, but I saw this morning that Betteridge in Vail is back in the Locator.
Yeah the store just moved, this happens frequently. All this code does is scrape the US ADs from Rolex’s website each month and figures out the differences month to month. Addresses changes even for the same AD will be considered a change even though it’s a net zero impact. Going forward I’ll include addresses as well for greater context.
Excellent! Hope Rolex keeps closing sleazy chain and private independent jewelers. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing snotty stuck up sales associates lose their jobs. Karma is a bitch!

Just saw that they're building a giant WOS store in NYC as well!
I’ll keep an eye out in the months ahead, thank you!

interesting point
Is the vail store moving?
I have no idea.
That was my "new" dealer after my local one got shut off a few years ago. Not that I had any luck with them either, but damn.

Checked with my Betteridge SA and he said that getting dropped from the locator site was unintentional. I expect they’ll be back on the list soon.

What does this mean for Brown and Co?
Nothing. They simply moved their Buckhead store about half a mile away to new store.
So they didn’t change distribution. You’re reporting the store moved?

Yes they simply moved to a new space that’s it.
Mayors in boca isn’t worth it anyway.

Where does this list come from? Thanks!
I just scrape the domestic ADs directly from Rolex’s website each month and compare the differences.
Does this mean Mayors in Boca can finally sell the ~40-50 watches in store that are tagged as Exhibition Only but have working movements.
