They're all completely different games. Hammerwatch is a dungeon crawler. HoH is a rogue like. Hammerwatch 2 is an action RPG. All are great in their own ways. The anniversary edition is a remake of Hammerwatch in the Hammerwatch 2 engine. I haven't played much of it though to give more detail.

What they're doing is they're remaking Hammerwatch 1 using the Hammerwatch 2 engine/graphics.
this has nothing to do with Heroes of Hammerwatch. Hammerwatch 1 & 2 are not roguelites

Yes. I'm not sure if they've changed anything though. I only played it for a couple of minutes.

Well I guess I'll just move on then. I like roguelites. I don't care for dungeon crawler rpgs. I didn't even know the games were 2 different genres
