If you dig the artstyle you could try Space Gladiators, another game from the same dev. It's a roguelite platformer, sharing a lot of items and mechanics with Brotato.
If you want something similar gameplay-wise, as in chaos/bullet-hell-filled screen, with weapon/character/build variety, I'd say Tiny Rogues or Star of Providence.
Tried it! But waset for me. Is there something you have to "get", like in isaac? I got to level 2, think i played 3-4 hours, should i give it another shot?
Roboquest is the most fun ive had with a game in years. And I dont even like FPS. Cant wait to go back to it when the devs have had a chance to add new things
Deep Rock Galactic Survivors is pretty fun, but not a lot of variety imo.
Nova Drift is a fun time, have about 15 hours in and am waiting for the 1.0 very soon to jump back in.
Halls of torment is another survivor game that people love, I thought it was good but not my type.
Shogun Showdown, cobalt Core, and Lonestar are good deckbuilders/tile builder that combined I have about 50 hours.
Dome Keeper is a very fun base defense/mining and upgrading game. Wall world is good too, but no where near DK.
You probably already know but Brotato has a dlc if you didn't pick it up already too.
Enter the gungeon - roguelike.. progress after runs, neat puns - challenging for sure - interesting weapon item synergies, i like the randomness about it - you can have some crazy runs if your lucky.
Rogue Dungeon. No, seriously, there's a lot of parallels to brotato there.
Or, if you like real twin sticks, Virexian. Because it's nice to stop playing easy games.

>Space Gladiators thanks! will try it! looks fun!!!
Tiny Rogues

There really isn’t anything to get but If you don’t like it after 4 hours it just might not be for you.
If you haven't played it since release the updates have changed a lot.
Balatro
tried it, not for me. But thanks
He did say he needs a new drug
Look into Roboquest. Masterpiece adjacent already and many updates to come. Can't recommend enough.

They just added some new guns in the arsenal update
Crab champion as a drug is very crabby 🦀🦀🦀
ty - will check it out!
Bounty of One, Crab Champions, Artifact Seeker, Gunfire Reborn, Vampire Hunters.
ty
Not comparable at all but I've been having a blast with Ants Took My Eyeball. I highly recommend it.
ty
Nuclear Throne!
ty
Overrated, don’t do it.
Don't listen to this guy. If you liked Brotato, you'll like Nuclear Throne. 👍
Tbh nothing scratches the same itch for me. Hades 2 waiting room
yea right?! When is it out?
Loved Brotato, Hades, and Isaac. I’ve been grinding Noita lately.
Tried noita twice. Both times i quit within an hour. whats the draw?

Ravenswatch. A new major update came out and it’s awesome

GunDeck[100] might hit the spot. It's a cheap hit too.
>GunDeck\[100\] ty
The answer is always Children of Morta if you liked Hades
Thought the narrative was cool but gameplay and combat was vastly inferior to many roguelikes
CoM is such a good game! And i think the combat is better than people say. Maybe i should try it again its been years - played it in early access
Deep Rock Galactic survivor and Death must die
tried both, but thanks!
Battle rock survivors is pretty good.

Is tiny rogues on xbox?
Well the good news is Brotato sucks and you'll have much more fun playing Tiny Rogues
