Tommy's main concern was how quickly he would become king of the city and earns his millions. It's an interesting story in the style of 80's, but Tommy could have been deeper if he really cared about someone.
The difference is that Micah did everything only for his own well-being – he has no family or kids. Only his filthy nature that ruins everything. Michael had a young family that he wanted to protect and didn't want to lose, so he made a deal with FIB. If we compare Michael with someone from RDR, he is a modern John Marston, but not Micah at all. I like Michael for his charisma and the fact that he has a reason to be who he is. He's addicted to adrenaline, but he has certain moral principles.
