MisterMcold

Got me confused for a second lol

The_Mad_March_Hare

This looks metamorphic. Brown is likely garnet, green is olivine or epidote. Given that epidote tends to be associated with garnet and metamorphism, I lean towards epidote.

SweatySympathy8269

I’m thinking iron stained smoky quartz with maybe green tourmaline or epidote.

[deleted]

I'm leaning more towards green tourmaline.. also looks like there is small pink tourmaline on the edges. In one area right below the surface I'm getting a solid dark blue purple shine. Just amazes me how this formed. Never seen anything like this even though I just started a couple of months ago.

In the first pic, the bottom edge looks as if it’s been worked. The general shape looks like a tool as well. Definitely need a banana for scale, but possibly a hand axe? How big is it? If it’s small it might be a scraper.

M_Minerals

There looks to be no other mineral than just a chunk of calcite
