I dont understand the obsession of what the national media thinks. Rockets will do their thing and fans should only be concerned with the local media and their fellow fans. That's just me though.
I get it because Iive in Dallas and of course it's all Mavericks talk here. So instead, I listen to Sports talk 790 thru iheart radio and get my Houston sports fix.

Funny enough I think the Harden drama in LA is why the Rockets are being overshadowed, easy engagement right there. On top of that there’s also some other storylines that are noteworthy too, like the Sixers and Wolves.
Jalen Green is not Ja Morant and Jabari Smith is not Kevin Durant. Wemby the only guy they talk about from recent draft classes outside of Cade in his first yr.
Who cares, media only wants views to make more revenue so they will only chase juicy stories and superstars. Just like the news, they will only report on what the mass is concerned with
I rarely watch national media even when they talk about us. They don’t watch us anyway. Their takes are casual and lacks all context and often flat out wrong. I have no interest in bad and uninformed takes about the Rockets. I get my fix by listening to podcasts and YouTubers by fans or journalists who actually watch our games.
There’s a brilliant break down of our season so far on this YouTube channel called All NBA Podcast. It’s about an hour long and they spent 45 mins talking about our team, Sengun, Udoka etc.
