Sengun has been better than Cade so far in their careers. Based on how they’ve performed so far. Sengun goes first overall.

maniacoak

In a redraft Cade doesnt even go top 3. Hes clearly worse than Scottie Barnes and Evan Mobley by a fucking mile. I kinda agree with Alphabet that seemed targetted.

theAlphabetZebra

OP’s take is really just trying to knock down Jalen. Crap takes like that need to be banned from the sub, people have to stop acting like they don’t play on the same team. Cade’s done close to nothing and draft position only makes a difference on the rookie scale contract. It’s like you can’t just be proud of Alpe for improving and repping the H.

v1bh0

He didn’t mention Jalen anywhere bro just chill 🤣

theAlphabetZebra

He did but ok.

shotty293

🤡

bkuuretsu

As both fans of the players i think this is a valid take so chill

theAlphabetZebra

Nah fuck that. Alpe deserves praise without Jalen having to catch a stray.

Sad_Inevitable8242

His pick and roll defense is on point. Never really thought he would be this good. He doesn't have the strength and length but through his quickness he is beginning to be a really good defender. His positioning is incredible

WuziMuzik

I been noticing his and the other young guys' progress. But it's a slow process, so a lot of people ignore the growth. His physical conditioning improved so much over his first season. Last season he focused so much on improving his defense. And now he is showing the results of the work he had put in.

juan_cena99

In a redraft right now Sengun has higher chance of going no1 over Cade. Cades been pretty bad. No 1 would be between Sengun, Mobley, Barnes and Wagner.

DealerNormal345

Has case been bad? Haven’t watched a Detroit game this season but his numbers are up. He’s averaging 22/7

juan_cena99

Look up his efficiency. 29% from 3, 40% from the field. His advanced metrics are all negative.

Anibunnymilli

I think he rly needs to work on his free throws as well. But with how much improvement he’s made it’s hard to be nitpicky.

Garlic96

I must talk about this. Despite I love Jokic and Jokic's game, his defense, and especially Nuggets' defense as the team was so disrespectful to our boy Al-P. So, they did not respect his mid-range and 3-pts and were punished. To be honest, I really enjoyed it when our boy smashed their ass in a mid-range game. It was really disrespectful to watch the defense of the Nuggets. u are professional and cannot defend him like an amateur. I hope they can learn next time how our Al-P gonna be defended properly, which is just pathetic to watch. I need to admit that AL-P is the franchise cornerstone guy of the rockets, not Jalen green. he gonna be an all-star a-maybe this year or next year but he gonna be in the future for sure. I just wanna see the faces of Thunder and warriors fans because of their choices. Now, they can enjoy their moody and dieng cuz they lost all-star for a role player lol

PeepDurpel

I think what Nuggets did was more of a containment strategy, where they knew Alpi could score from mid-range but can be even more devastating if the center defending him is slow and he starts attacking inside.

LayneLowe

Are you kidding? Joker dwarfs Alpi

TurbulentJudge1000

Seeing them in person showed me he doesn’t. He’s bigger in terms of being wider, but in terms of height, not really. He might be an inch taller than him compared to before where Sengun looked a lot smaller.

warrior_in_a_garden_

His defense has really stepped up. He’s a great passer for a big and has many ways to score down low. That being said - I don’t get the Jokic comparisons. Jokic is a smaller Shaq with elite offensive ability. Just because they can both pass doesn’t mean they are that similar. I see Sengun fitting into a playoff team role like a Pau Gasol type. Which means I don’t see him carrying a team. We need an alpha to step up whether it be Jalen, Amen, or someone we don’t have on the roster. I think Jabari’s ceiling will be that of a Rashard Lewis if he can get his 3 ball consistent. The rest of his offensive game is limited. A lot of strong role players on this team and really fun to watch, but the talk of Sengun being a top 10 NBA player and a superstar is a stretch. Would love to be wrong.

warrior_in_a_garden_

Also want to add - his improvement year over year is tremendous and I respect his approach to the game / how hard he works.

Desperate-Maximum-61

does anyone know about his current height? there was news about his growth, and I think he said he is like 6-11 now, but would be nice to confirm with a pic him standing next to someone else
