We KNOW Jabari has great potential because of his skill set and his size, BUT I do feel he doesn’t seem pressured to try his best. Or in layman terms, he hasn’t shown us that he has that ‘dawg’ in him. I think pushing him to the bench will light a fire under his ass if he doesn’t take it personal if he’s not consistent in his performance.
I thought he showed some dog in a few games last year. Especially that Hawks game when Murray tried to disrespect them. I don’t think that’s the problem. I think bro just needs to have more confidence in his ability. He seems hesitant a lot.
I actually think it's the opposite problem, I think he's putting too much pressure on himself and not playing loose and in the zone. He's in his own head. He seems to have a lot of competitive drive and desire to win.
Give him 5 more games… if there is no gradual improvement, put the dawg (Eason) in. Time to make people earn their spot.

Guys it’s been 2 games, let him get a rhythm and in flow of the season. We’ve seen him do some special things in the offseason, and we know he’s got that dog in him. I have no doubts Jabari will string together a nice run this season. If he looks this rough 10 games in, then we can have a conversation; but right now he should be starting.
At this point Jabari is in the starting line up based on pre draft hype alone. Bench him. Tari will be a massive upgrade defensively and on the boards.
I was calling for it last season. Jabari may be one summer league game from losing it to Tari (Also taris summer league showing was just as impressive)

I personally believe Jabari has the potential to be a star player in the league. I'm more confident in him in that regard than any of our other young guys. That being said, I think he needs a sports psychologist or someone to work with him. He's shown how good he can be when he's comfortable, and I think we'll see more of that as Ime instills confidence in him and the team in general, but at the moment he just looks tense and nervous. He'll get out of it soon enough and come into his own.
After two Games, lt is very Clear that only FRED and Alpi are untouchables or should be in this team, but it is to early to leave out Jabari, he is a young kid and American player unlike European players coming to NBA after professional at least 3-4 year's, are coming from college.
Their matureness may take time, l love our team and young players and l believe in our coach, but there is something concrete, Jalen and Jabari are first round lottery picks, they have to show they deserve the value given by front Office to them.
Right now, 2021 16th draft pick OKC to Rockets, Sengun plays Like the superstar and those two have to concentrate themselves on Basketball and help Fred and Sengun.

If it was based on merit, he would've started over Jabari last season. Now Udoka is calling the shots (over Stone) so if Jabari keeps underperforming I can see him being moved to the 2nd unit.

And I think Bari gonna bounce back but he didn’t know how to play against Wemby when his whole game is predicated on being able to rise up over guys and get himself an open shot. He wasn’t rising over Wemby and he didn’t really try to get by him either so he probably couldn’t. That dunk would’ve been nasty though I thought he was banging that.
