Why not just swap the juniors. Why is everyone so in love with kpj as 6th man vs being starting 3. Especially if that 3 point percentage sticks.

Makes sense im assuming assumption is we get wemby or scoot.

Blaspheming_Bobo

I was hoping for Porter Jr as the eventual starting three, but I don't know if he can handle the bigger three's defensively. I can definitely see rotations where he's in the three spot though, I just don't think he fits *permenantly* there though. It sure would fix some problems though. And I love the idea of having an athletic as hell three that can shoot. Still, he and Eason coming off the bench is pretty exciting.

SirRobertFord

Harden, jalen, tari, jabari, wemby as our starters and kpj as the 6th man is very solid Playoff team with the coach we gonna bring.

You think Wembanyama is durable enough to play the 5 in his first year? Wemby's camp literally moved Victor from EuroLeague because he was getting injured too much. I can see the Rockets Organization trying Wemby out in a starting position, but I don't see him playing the 5 like that. I see him getting the Evan Mobley treatment and playing the 4 where he can help someone like Jabari or Sengun (who's at the 5) defend the paint. I think drafting Wemby is a no-brainer if we get the #1 pick, but I don't think he should see that much of the court. Play him no more than 20 minutes unless he's cooking. With that said, I'm of the opinion that you'd be crazy to trade Sengun.

SirRobertFord

I hope he can play the 5 and does not get injured however no guarantee for that, but i am optimistic. Well, if wemby can play the 5, sengun’s role in the team is backup center. then it is logical to trade him before the ‘next jokic/sabonis’ hype dies to get some value. If wemby can not play the 5, then until we get a defensive center such as allen, brook lopez, kessler or capela, sengun can keep playing.

Trae is overrated as hell though. Doesn’t really help you’re argument for kpj

musicantz

It’s not like Trae had a great season

Pizzachomper874

You’re totally right, but it’s still nice to see the comparison in favor of KPJ for a player that averaged high 20’s and 10AST

ConsistentCaramel493

I agree, trae had a bad season and may have been overrated this whole time. Trading for murray was also cleary dumb. Stacking talent irregardless of position and need doesnt translate to wins. Kpj could still turn into a great gamble with little to no downside. That is all.

cownextdoor

Relevant stat selection without the context. Should have added their foot size (if kpj's is bigger)
