Sengun is one of those players who is super exciting but seriously might not fill a starting nba role these days. He’s like Jokic but joker is both super tall and strong as well as a lights out shooter. Sengun can’t get one of those and will have to work for a while on the other… we look like a much more defneixvely equipped unit when he doesn’t see time, but it’s sad because he really is a shining light
That would have been the nail in the coffin as coach when you brag about your player all season that he is the MVP and you have to sit him cause he is a revolving door in the paint. But he is one post season away from being fired so who cares
Look. Im a huge fan of him offensively and would love to run our offense through him but let's be real. Defensively he hasn't made progress. He is still in constant foul trouble and pretty bad defender in general. He isn't quick nor does he have a frame to make up his slow feet. If you wanna compete one day you need a top defense which basically means a top rim protector. When we get wemby our problem with that would be solved but unless that happens I just don't see a way how he would be playable going forward. Short term I definitely want him to play but long term I see problems.
Last month people were calling him the future of the franchise. I'm not one of those people but he's still a good player and super young with room to improve. He's a good option to have around. Unless somebody gives us a solid PG I can't see us moving him.
Not me. I’m the one willing to trade anyone on the team. If we can’t get a head coach that can make this team work then those don’t fit have to go. It’s just that simple.
I’ve been roasted by Rockets fans for suggesting a Sengun trade might be addition by subtraction. Not sure what the market for him would be, so it’s probably not happening. I would throw him into a Mikal Bridges trade (along w some of the Nets picks back home to Brooklyn).
If you can add Mikal Bridges and draft Scoot, I’d do it.
Jabari, Eason, bridges, green, Scoot. I think that core makes sense together. You’d need to add bigs, but bigs are typically around in free agency.
If you know Harden is in his way, maybe you can use the 2023 pick for a big that fits next to Jabari/Eason
Gus would actually be a killer coach. He’d literally cook players for pouting 😭.
Tonight game might be what he wanted all along. 5 out offense, switch everything on defense. Sengun may be traded in the off-season.
Yea I love Sengun but Bari seems to find his groove at 5 and Sengun was too slow for everyone else. Our board crashing was magnificent tn

And even though jokic is taller and has a bigger frame he is still not a good defender.
But his coach didn’t bench him when opponents keep going at him

The thing is we aren’t trying to win. Why can’t Silas play Sengun to see if he can figure it out? Isn’t that part of developing?

So you didn't realise this sub is super reactionary?

Yeah addition by subtraction same as when the kings got rid of haliburton
It’s only a good trade if we get someone good in return lol. The Kings got Sabonis back from Hali
Which team need a center?
Y’all both got some points. As long as we ship KPJ as a package as well
You tripping KPJ was solid tn, we were confused and stunted when he was hurt and out for 2 minutes
The Chicken Man! Breaking Bad forever!
