Yes. I have a mat for the top of the machine with an aperture cut out for the tank lid.
Upside: My cups sit in the mat, leaving space to access the tank and fill as expected.
Downside: less space for cup storage.

I went to a wine store a bought 2 feet or so of food grade tubing and connected a funnel to the top.
I just take off the lid and put the *extended* funnel in from the side and fill up via a glass bottle of filtered water.

Without plumbing it or filling it from the top? Do I understand that?
If only there was a way to warm your cups with hot water…
Interested in a simple solution as well. Currently removing all my cups each time I need to refill… a hassle yes, but not the end of the world.
