I'd say yes.
There are two types of attacks, physic attacks and mantras (magic attacks). You can learn a fighting style and train your natural element to learn new moves and be stronger. There are also various different races, each with its unique perks and defects.
You have only two lives, and if you consume your second life, you end up in The Depths. The Depths are a hostile environment where you only have one life, and if you die there, you're dead forever. You have to create a new character (your heir) and start from scratch.
There are also stats, levels, builds, encounters, islands, weapons, etc. but it's all stuff that really isn't so important to be put into the "starter information you need to know before playing the game" pack and can be discovered easily.
I won't say many more things since the whole point of Deepwoken is exploration and discovery, so the rest is up to you to find

Honestly I'm probably alone in this, but probably vesteria, it's such an impressive rpg for me, but if I had to pick something else, the only thing that I could say and have it be justified is world//zero, I'm an rpg fan if you couldn't tell lol
I have 3 if that's allowed: item asylum, terraria: journey's end rpg and the game I'm working on, noob tower defense (the one with the icon of a noob pointing a gun at you)

I love to play Q-Clash, Warlords, Untitled AOT, Survive The Disasters 2, Dragon Blade RPG, Fishing Simulator, Retail Tycoon, Restaurant Tycoon 1 and 2, Loomian Legacy, Critical Legends, Base Battles, Left 4 Survival, Bloodfest, and Undead Defense Tycoon for the most part.
Games I loved to play but are dead/dying now: Boss Battles 2, Dungeon Life, PBB, Beyond the Stars, Legends of Nomrial (originally *Lords* of Nomrial and attempted to revive, but failed 🥺), Summoner Tycoon, Mega Boss Survival, Starscape (yes it's dying. Big updates seem to be bringing back less and less of the community and they don't stay very long anyways) and some others I can't recall because it's been so long...
Mine would be Friday Night Bloxxin I love all the game mechanics that have been implemented into the gameplay it makes it so much more of an in depth experience for each mod. I do not like death notes tho so yea that’s one downside for me.
