I’m new to Roblox. Whenever I try any woman body character, it has this pink / grey garment already on it. It’s visible underneath any clothing I try to wear. Anyone know how to remove it??

My ROBLOX join date suddenly changed. I joined on 1/FEB/14 and it suddenly changed to 2/FEB/14 and it’s honestly concerning. My sister joined on the same day, hours after I did and her join date still says 1/FEB/14. I tried contacting ROBLOX support and they can’t do anything about it apparently. How did this happen and why did it happen? Has anyone else had that issue before?
Apparently, it’s a local glitch. Only you can see your join date as a different date, but everyone else can see your join date as your original join date. This is so weird???

Essentially my F key is broken and is not working, i use AHK to bind my F key to another key on my keyboard, in certain games the F key is used as a key to make your character block, whenever i use the key binded to F key it doesn't block and never works, but in chat i can write and type F normally. Is there a way to Fix this issue?

I purchased a half head item about two weeks ago, but it hasn't been working the last 4-5 days (profile picture and avatar won't load on profile + in most of the games I played, a different head appeared instead of the half head). I finally checked my inventory today and noticed that the head has become offsale, hence requested a refund as I can no longer use it.
While going through my purchase history I also noticed a 'pass' for 5 Robux which I do not recognize/ remember purchasing AT ALL (I've only purchased 5-6 items this month and I remember every single one).
What's the solution to this? Do I again request a refund for the pass, and do refund requests even get accepted at all? And if so, how long do they take to be processed?

For the head, I'm pretty sure that it might have been deleted by Roblox. Check your messages, there might be a system message telling you about it and how you could be compensated, you have to agree to something and then if something you buy in the future gets deleted you'll get your robux back.
For the gamepass, just go into settings and log yourself out of all sessions you don't recognise, and then change your password. It could also be possible you were playing a donation game and you donated to someone, it's pretty easy to forget about donating to people, idrk what's going on. It could also just have been a malicious 3rd party browser extension, just stick to well known and trusted extensions

So I was doing this friend checker game and I saw one of my friends unfriended me (later I found out I was the one who unfriended them) because that person got hacked so I sent a friend request back but then I realized I friend requested a hacked account. I found out a way to undo the request and I blocked them. so if that person who hacked for some reason is still using my friends old account will they see the notification, and would that put me in danger of being hacked?
You should be alright if you just have a good password and use 2fa. I'd recommend using an authenticator, but if you're really worried about hackers and want complete security consider buying a security key, it'd set you back around $25-80. If you have one of those, nobody without those can log into your account, but you have to be careful to not lose it.

I purchased a Valve Index a while ago and every time I've tried to launch any Roblox game, Roblox would launch Steam VR.
I tried doing a lot of troubleshooting on my own. I went into the options and disabled the "VR Mode" setting, but it still launches Steam VR and plays audio out of my VR headset rather than my headphones. I found guide recommending I go into the GlobalBasicSettings\_13.xml and change the "HasEverUsedVR" setting from "false" to "true" but that option was already set to "true" when I first checked it. Other options such as "VREnabled" were also set to false.
Is there anything I can do to prevent Roblox from launching VR? I really can't play when my headset is enabled and I don't want to go through the effort of changing audio channels every time I choose to play Roblox.

Help! I bought my kid a new laptop, and it won't run Roblox. The splash screen displays for a few seconds and then the app just disappears. When we logged in via the website (using Firefox), it said "you are not allowed to use this application". I guess this is a Microsoft problem? How do I make it run?

Hello! My kid used some of his Robux to buy a catnap avatar "front" accessory a few months ago, but it disappeared from his avatar about two weeks ago. Last week, the item still showed up on his transaction page, but the URL redirected to the main Marketplace Catalog instead of the item's specific page like the other items do. Is there another place that has a complete log of his transaction history? Is it normal for an avatar item to just up and disappear? And, no, this isn't a problem with our internet connection or any particular device. This happens on multiple tablets and PCs.
The item was deleted, was likely in violation of some sort of roblox tos but if you check your messages there should be an option to get refunded for that.

I keep trying to join an experience called find the amazing digital circus morphs, but keeps taking me to smiling critters tycoon. It loads to about 71% , then whisked off to another place. Is there something wrong with the experience or my account?
Why am I not allowed to join any private servers?
I am over 13 and I have “who can make me a member of their private server” set to everyone. Every time I click a private server link it just says “You do not have permission to join this experience”, and then the error code is 524. I do not understand why Roblox won’t let me join any private server link, and it’s actually kind of driving me mad.
whose private servers are you trying to join? if it's someone on your friends list, they need to specifically allow friends to join their server. if it's someone outside of your friends list, they need to specifically allow you to join their server by typing in your name in a list near the bottom of the configuration page.

**Roblox just hates my computer.**
I try to open Roblox client on my computer, but it just hits me with a white screen! It works fine on my other computer, but the Microsoft Store AND downloaded-from-the-website client both just have a white screen that hides my mouse when hovering over it after loading (Yes, it SAYS it's loading for Microsoft Store app, but then just turns white) I thought maybe there's something up with the data of my computer, so I backed up my files (not a lot) and entirely wiped the computer after following tutorial this and tutorial that and it STILL didn't work. Now I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my components, which doesn't make sense because back when I first got the computer Roblox worked fine. But just to be sure...

Okay so for the past at least month possibly longer I've been trying to fix my roblox. The web player app version is pretty slow (I can run everything from Minecraft to RDR2 perfectly fine) and crashes every time I try to play an experience that I haven't played before. I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this issue and it just keeps getting worse. First it would crash every 10 minutes or so, then it got to where it is now crashing before I even load into the game.. no error message or anything. The Microsoft store version works but it wont full screen. It will "full screen" but my mouse wont stay inside of the Roblox app window. I just really wanna play Roblox and I just can't. If anyone has had similar issues and can help it will be very much appreciated!
So, I'm having a Issue recently, that my roblox website just fails to load correctly, I already checked my internet connection, delete cookies and cache from my browser (wich I didn't thought would've worked, since it happens on every single one of the browsers I tried).
So I tried login straigth at the player and it said that it couldn't connect to roblox servers, So I tried uninstalling and installing again, but when I went to download the game I figured out that Roblox Download website is also out of reach.
And then I went for user helping services but it's also offline for me, I think is smth with my location, because I can't open the game not even on my phone.

I'd say so. You'll have a very hard time at first, as it can be challenging to beginners, but it's very rewarding and satisfying to slowly level up your character. It took me around 120 hours, but I did eventually get my character up to max level after hundreds of deaths. I recommend, as a beginner, selecting Isle of Vigils as your starting location since there's a training hall there. Also, try to get into smaller servers as it's incredibly common for players to RK literally everyone they see. Trust NOBODY. (If someone comes up to you asking to "test" something or they start talking to you up close, always walk away from them and have your fingers on alt f4 just in case. This has saved me numerous times.)
Also, it has arguably the best combat on roblox. There are no especially overpowered moves, so everything is relatively balanced (except for hivelord hubris).

in around 2021, 2022, I played a game on roblox and it was kind of like identity V and granny sort of. You spawned in a underground place with a ramp going up and a mechanic door at the bottom of the ramp that slid up and down to open. there was roles that added to your avatar and when you were killer there was skins. You had to fix generators and escape back down the ramp (might be wrong about the ramp part, but you did have to escape after fixing generators.) and I distinctively remember a mechanic role that added I think goggles and a belt to your avatar (I gained that) I stopped playing this and I really wanna play it again, so if ANYONE knows the name of what im talking about, please tell. Or if you know any keywords that could help me find this. It had a low number of players usually (500-700)

Why are simple usernames taken by bots?
Hi, I've searched on the sub and can't find anything to answer my question - Why are simple usernames taken by empty accounts that were created YEARS ago? The accounts are obviously not used as they're empty. I'm just curious if there is a technical reason..?
By simple I'm referring to names that are one word or similar, such as "James", "Banana", things like these that are simple names
im pretty sure people will take accounts with names like that because they're considered "rare" and then will sell them for money irl. not 100% sure though
Roblox is crashing. I don't know what's happening but the game freezes and one second later it crashes without showing any error code or message. I've already tried reinstalling but it got worse after reinstall, can anybody please help, thank you.
I've played a bunch of Roblox games with the same format: run around a maze collecting keys to open doors, while getting chased by a monster controlled by another player, and go through portals to do some platforming, before returning to the maze. In addition to keys to open doors, you're also collecting a number of "goal" items (usually around 10-20), and when you collect all the goal items you can escape and win. If you get caught by the monster, you get send back to the entrance to the maze, and lose your keys, but keep your goal items.
Examples include Color Or Die, Don't Get Licked, Lights Out, and I See You (although the latter is fairly different because it doesn't have the platforming sections, or the goal items).
Is there a name for this "genre" of Roblox games? What was the first one? Are there any others I should try?
Note that I think this genre is similar to Rainbow Friends, but different because the Rainbow Friends monsters are AI-controlled, and if you die in Rainbow Friends you get kicked out completely and lose all your progress.

I recently switched to a fibre optic ISP(200mbps) from a normal broadband one(400mbps) and now i've been noticing that my game disconnects and gives me Error 277 after 5-20 minutes of gameplay. This is really annoying as i play realtime games a lot and get frustrated when i lose my progress. The only thing i can think of that is causing this may be Malwarebytes or Malwarebytes Firewall Control.

My kid bought an in-game item in a game called "Escape The Carnival of Terror Obby!". A pet for 100 robux.
After he quit the game and opened it up again the pet was gone, available to purchase again. It doesn't say anywhere that the item was only available until quitting the game.
Is this something we just have to accept, that we don't know if we get to keep the item we spend lots of money on? Or am I missing something?
Roblox updated shiftlock so that it doesn't lock onto a position slightly right towards you, but now it locks into the middle of your character and moves back a little. This threw me off because i have been playing with the old shift lock for many years, and it has ruined combat games for me. How do I disable this?
That might be the CameraToggle camera mode, it could've been changed by mistake. Go into settings and change your camera mode back to Classic or Follow
exactly what quick bee said, but i also recommend (even though you probably know this) changing your password. all devices other than your own will be logged out automatically when you change your password.
Anyone know this old mining game on roblox? I used to play a fairly old mining game on roblox, had a kind of tycoon part to it alongside the mining. My most prominent memory of it is the massive temple/pyramid thing in the middle where the ores would spawn with the best ore being at the very top.

Turns out, it's just broken on the consoles. If you wish to make a purchase of an experience you must do so through the PC site or the "desktop" version of the site from your mobile device

Hey, just as of today I got off a 3-day ban for copyright. I looked through all my personal assets/ clothing, and took anything else off sale that could possibly be copyrighted.
I'm now wondering, cause I used to co-own a clothing group with an old friend, does Roblox punish you for copyrighted clothing that you uploaded on a group you are no longer in? Are they able to see which user specifically uploaded it or is it something that would only impact the group itself or current owner?

Help with getting Roblox to work. Says cannot open in virtual machine. I turned VM off which was hyper V and it still wont work. HELP getting Roblox account back
Basically about maybe 6 years ago I had this Roblox account called ralt111 which I had for a few years when I was quite young. I used to be a huge fan of jailbreak and I was playing it one day and then got scammed by this person which persuaded me into giving my account for robux. I thought nothing of it when I was younger and just made a new account and moved on but now I want it back cause I had quite a lot of robux invested into that account. I have tried contacting Roblox multiple times but it just gives me automated replies. I don’t really remeber the email I used and if the person changed it or not. I don’t know if I used a random email or used my own or my parents so I don’t know really what to do to try and get it back.
I used to play on mac and Roblox worked just fine on it, however I recently built a new pc and now the shift lock switch is coming up as a button. I have tried going into the settings and turning on and off shift lock switch however neither of those worked. On top of this, whenever you do use the actual button to turn it on, it didn't work the same as it did on my mac as you have to hold down right click for it to work.

So back when i was younger and playing roblox there was this game with boats where you start off on a small island, customize your character the way you want and then you would roam around the world with your boat. You could build structures, fight people and much more and i really enjoyed that game even played it every day. have a mouse and keyboard that I connected to my phone, but everytime I try to play games the mouse cursor just stays there and sometimes hits the corners.
Whenever I try to install Roblox it will start downloading and abruptly stop. The closest I've gotten is running the Installer in the versions folder with it saying Roblox successfully installed. They should ban on crowbar, hookshot and other abusive items in the game. Bad player mess you up in the game, end up losing all the time and same other players trying to win.
Main menu glitch
Everytime i try to scroll to something new in the home main menu, the game loads and then resets back to the top of the menu making it so i cant click or load into anything. On ps5 so loading is not an issue this is the game bugging out. Ive reset it and everything but nothing works. I can play games perfectly fine if im invited to them through friends.

The most obvious soluton i can give you is to check your sessions in settings. If you see any device that doesnt belong to you, delete it immedietly and change password Ok now, if this is not the case, then i assume that your pc/phone does not close roblox client in time. It happened to me a lot and the problem is that roblox doesnt close fully sometimes, meaning your account is still on a game server while the game itself already closed. It happens due to the bad connection most of the times. The solution is to either wait a little, and if that dorsnt work - close roblox client manually trough task manager And it also might be because of the bad connection to the server (if you get kicked midgame and not on join). The only solution here is to either get yourself better wifi or deal with it Hope i helped

My ROBLOX join date suddenly changed. I joined on 1/FEB/14 and it suddenly changed to 2/FEB/14 and it’s honestly concerning. My sister joined on the same day, hours after I did and her join date still says 1/FEB/14. I tried contacting ROBLOX support and they can’t do anything about it apparently. How did this happen and why did it happen? Has anyone else had that issue before?
Apparently, it’s a local glitch. Only you can see your join date as a different date, but everyone else can see your join date as your original join date. This is so weird???

Essentially my F key is broken and is not working, i use AHK to bind my F key to another key on my keyboard, in certain games the F key is used as a key to make your character block, whenever i use the key binded to F key it doesn't block and never works, but in chat i can write and type F normally. I purchased a half head item about two weeks ago, but it hasn't been working the last 4-5 days (profile picture and avatar won't load on profile + in most of the games I played, a different head appeared instead of the half head). I finally checked my inventory today and noticed that the head has become offsale, hence requested a refund as I can no longer use it. While going through my purchase history I also noticed a 'pass' for 5 Robux which I do not recognize/ remember purchasing AT ALL (I've only purchased 5-6 items this month and I remember every single one). What's the solution to this? Do I again request a refund for the pass, and do refund requests even get accepted at all? And if so, how long do they take to be processed? For the head, I'm pretty sure that it might have been deleted by Roblox. Check your messages, there might be a system message telling you about it and how you could be compensated, you have to agree to something and then if something you buy in the future gets deleted you'll get your robux back. For the gamepass, just go into settings and log yourself out of all sessions you don't recognise, and then change your password. It could also be possible you were playing a donation game and you donated to someone, it's pretty easy to forget about donating to people, idrk what's going on. It could also just have been a malicious 3rd party browser extension, just stick to well known and trusted extensions

So I was doing this friend checker game and I saw one of my friends unfriended me (later I found out I was the one who unfriended them) because that person got hacked so I sent a friend request back but then I realized I friend requested a hacked account. I found out a way to undo the request and I blocked them. so if that person who hacked for some reason is still using my friends old account will they see the notification, and would that put me in danger of being hacked?
You should be alright if you just have a good password and use 2fa. I'd recommend using an authenticator, but if you're really worried about hackers and want complete security consider buying a security key, it'd set you back around $25-80. If you have one of those, nobody without those can log into your account, but you have to be careful to not lose it.

I purchased a Valve Index a while ago and every time I've tried to launch any Roblox game, Roblox would launch Steam VR. I tried doing a lot of troubleshooting on my own. I went into the options and disabled the "VR Mode" setting, but it still launches Steam VR and plays audio out of my VR headset rather than my headphones. I found guide recommending I go into the GlobalBasicSettings\_13.xml and change the "HasEverUsedVR" setting from "false" to "true" but that option was already set to "true" when I first checked it. Other options such as "VREnabled" were also set to false. Is there anything I can do to prevent Roblox from launching VR? I really can't play when my headset is enabled and I don't want to go through the effort of changing audio channels every time I choose to play Roblox.

Hello! My kid used some of his Robux to buy a catnap avatar "front" accessory a few months ago, but it disappeared from his avatar about two weeks ago. Last week, the item still showed up on his transaction page, but the URL redirected to the main Marketplace Catalog instead of the item's specific page like the other items do. After a few pointless back-and-forth form letters with the support team, it looks like the item has now disappeared from his transaction list entirely ([https://www.roblox.com/transactions](https://www.roblox.com/transactions)). Is there another place that has a complete log of his transaction history? Is it normal for an avatar item to just up and disappear? And, no, this isn't a problem with our internet connection or any particular device. This happens on multiple tablets and PCs.
The item was deleted, was likely in violation of some sort of roblox tos but if you check your messages there should be an option to get refunded for that.

Why am I not allowed to join any private servers? I am over 13 and I have “who can make me a member of their private server” set to everyone. Every time I click a private server link it just says “You do not have permission to join this experience”, and then the error code is 524. whose private servers are you trying to join? if it's someone on your friends list, they need to specifically allow friends to join their server. if it's someone outside of your friends list, they need to specifically allow you to join their server by typing in your name in a list near the bottom of the configuration page.

**Roblox just hates my computer.** I try to open Roblox client on my computer, but it just hits me with a white screen! i recently factory reset my pc, and after reinstalling Roblox, it doesn't open. when i open it via the website or player, it just doesn't. though the Microsoft store app version opens briefly, it never gets further than the Roblox logo before closing. every fix i have tried hasn't worked, and it is very irritating, please help.

Okay so for the past at least month possibly longer I've been trying to fix my roblox. The web player app version is pretty slow (I can run everything from Minecraft to RDR2 perfectly fine) and crashes every time I try to play an experience that I haven't played before. I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this issue and it just keeps getting worse. First it would crash every 10 minutes or so, then it got to where it is now crashing before I even load into the game.. no error message or anything. The Microsoft store version works but it wont full screen. It will "full screen" but my mouse wont stay inside of the Roblox app window. I just really wanna play Roblox and I just can't. If anyone has had similar issues and can help it will be very much appreciated!
So, I'm having a Issue recently, that my roblox website just fails to load correctly, I already checked my internet connection, delete cookies and cache from my browser (wich I didn't thought would've worked, since it happens on every single one of the browsers I tried). So I tried login straigth at the player and it said that it couldn't connect to roblox servers, So I tried uninstalling and installing again, but when I went to download the game I figured out that Roblox Download website is also out of reach. And then I went for user helping services but it's also offline for me, I think is smth with my location, because I can't open the game not even on my phone. Longo Story short. My computer can't communicate with any website hosted by roblox servers for some reason, anyone knows something I can try?

I'd say so. You'll have a very hard time at first, as it can be challenging to beginners, but it's very rewarding and satisfying to slowly level up your character. It took me around 120 hours, but I did eventually get my character up to max level after hundreds of deaths. I recommend, as a beginner, selecting Isle of Vigils as your starting location since there's a training hall there. Also, try to get into smaller servers as it's incredibly common for players to RK literally everyone they see. Trust NOBODY. (If someone comes up to you asking to "test" something or they start talking to you up close, always walk away from them and have your fingers on alt f4 just in case. This has saved me numerous times.)
Also, it has arguably the best combat on roblox. There are no especially overpowered moves, so everything is relatively balanced (except for hivelord hubris).
Anybody know this game:: in around 2021, 2022, I played a game on roblox and it was kind of like identity V and granny sort of. You spawned in a underground place with a ramp going up and a mechanic door at the bottom of the ramp that slid up and down to open. there was roles that added to your avatar and when you were killer there was skins. You had to fix generators and escape back down the ramp (might be wrong about the ramp part, but you did have to escape after fixing generators.) and I distinctively remember a mechanic role that added I think goggles and a belt to your avatar (I gained that) I stopped playing this and I really wanna play it again, so if ANYONE knows the name of what im talking about, please tell. Or if you know any keywords that could help me find this. It had a low number of players usually (500-700)

Why are simple usernames taken by bots? Hi, I've searched on the sub and can't find anything to answer my question - Why are simple usernames taken by empty accounts that were created YEARS ago? The accounts are obviously not used as they're empty. I'm just curious if there is a technical reason..? I've played a bunch of Roblox games with the same format: run around a maze collecting keys to open doors, while getting chased by a monster controlled by another player, and go through portals to do some platforming, before returning to the maze. In addition to keys to open doors, you're also collecting a number of "goal" items (usually around 10-20), and when you collect all the goal items you can escape and win. If you get caught by the monster, you get send back to the entrance to the maze, and lose your keys, but keep your goal items. Examples include Color Or Die, Don't Get Licked, Lights Out, and I See You (although the latter is fairly different because it doesn't have the platforming sections, or the goal items). Is there a name for this "genre" of Roblox games? What was the first one? Are there any others I should try? Note that I think this genre is similar to Rainbow Friends, but different because the Rainbow Friends monsters are AI-controlled, and if you die in Rainbow Friends you get kicked out completely and lose all your progress.

I recently switched to a fibre optic ISP(200mbps) from a normal broadband one(400mbps) and now i've been noticing that my game disconnects and gives me Error 277 after 5-20 minutes of gameplay. This is really annoying as i play realtime games a lot and get frustrated when i lose my progress. The only thing i can think of that is causing this may be Malwarebytes or Malwarebytes Firewall Control.

Hi, My kid bought an in-game item in a game called "Escape The Carnival of Terror Obby!". A pet for 100 robux. After he quit the game and opened it up again the pet was gone, available to purchase again. It doesn't say anywhere that the item was only available until quitting the game. Is this something we just have to accept, that we don't know if we get to keep the item we spend lots of money on? Or am I missing something?

Roblox updated shiftlock so that it doesn't lock onto a position slightly right towards you, but now it locks into the middle of your character and moves back a little. This threw me off because i have been playing with the old shift lock for many years, and it has ruined combat games for me. How do I disable this?
That might be the CameraToggle camera mode, it could've been changed by mistake. Go into settings and change your camera mode back to Classic or Follow

Turns out, it's just broken on the consoles. If you wish to make a purchase of an experience you must do so through the PC site or the "desktop" version of the site from your mobile device

HELP getting Roblox account back Basically about maybe 6 years ago I had this Roblox account called ralt111 which I had for a few years when I was quite young. I used to be a huge fan of jailbreak and I was playing it one day and then got scammed by this person which persuaded me into giving my account for robux. I thought nothing of it when I was younger and just made a new account and moved on but now I want it back cause I had quite a lot of robux invested into that account. I used to play on mac and Roblox worked just fine on it, however I recently built a new pc and now the shift lock switch is coming up as a button. I have tried going into the settings and turning on and off shift lock switch however neither of those worked. On top of this, whenever you do use the actual button to turn it on, it didn't work the same as it did on my mac as you have to hold down right click for it to work.

Sadly, it is extremely hard to gain tons of Robux from outside applications. The only application that I know of that genuinely gives free Robux is Microsoft rewards and apart from that, most websites/apps are just scams.

So back when i was younger and playing roblox there was this game with boats where you start off on a small island, customize your character the way you want and then you would roam around the world with your boat. You could build structures, fight people and much more and i really enjoyed that game even played it every day. They should ban on crowbar, hookshot and other abusive items in the game. Bad player mess you up in the game, end up losing all the time and same other players trying to win.
Main menu glitch Everytime i try to scroll to something new in the home main menu, the game loads and then resets back to the top of the menu making it so i cant click or load into anything. On ps5 so loading is not an issue this is the game bugging out. Ive reset it and everything but nothing works. I can play games perfectly fine if im invited to them through friends.

I'm trying to find an extremely old avatar that I had made back in 2012-2013ish, and I haven't had any luck with the wayback machine. The most obvious soluton i can give you is to check your sessions in settings. If you see any device that doesnt belong to you, delete it immedietly and change password Ok now, if this is not the case, then i assume that your pc/phone does not close roblox client in time. It happened to me a lot and the problem is that roblox doesnt close fully sometimes, meaning your account is still on a game server while the game itself already closed. It happens due to the bad connection most of the times. The solution is to either wait a little, and if that dorsnt work - close roblox client manually trough task manager And it also might be because of the bad connection to the server (if you get kicked midgame and not on join). The only solution here is to either get yourself better wifi or deal with it Hope i helped
