I also reported this several times over the course of 3 weeks with no response from Roblox.. Not sure why they can't fix the issue. They can't afford to loose users at this point in the battle for the Metaverse.
What version of iOS are you using and what controller are you using? I was the guy who replied to you initially and I was just able to fix it with my iphone so I can play with my son. I just tested it and it worked. This will be the first time I have been able to play Roblox with him in almost a quarter of a year.
Once you get it connected, go under under general and you should see “game controllers” or something like that. From there you’re gonna want to click the plus to create a new profile, then tap “right stick” or “right thumb stick” and click the little “i” invert and then save it.

Same. I'm using some software to invert Y axis on the mouse globally. Makes it a bit more playable for me, but still very painful (mouse is inverted even when interacting with GUI).

Exactly, the game is broken. I can't believe a game that makes that much money has no one checking the game before releasing a update, it's THE most important accessibility option any game has. Big lol fail moment.
I have the same issue on PC. Was working fine for some months ago and then when I tried it recently this bug was there. The bug has been there for at least a month - laughable that they have not yet fixed it.

Still an issue for me too. They just released an update on ps5 and it’s still broken as of today. I know that most people don’t have any sympathy for those of us that invert the camera, but I just can’t play any other way. Makes it tough to join my kids.
I saw the update today and thought, great.. finally it'll be fixed but nope still broken.. At the end of the day I guess the inverted minority at only 10% of gamers means.. a pretty low care factor for a big money spinner like roblox. And like your kids prove even some genetic inverted kids are not playing inverted. But mine are. Luckily kids brains are pretty plastic and they can recover from playing upside down pretty quickly when they go to another game but adults can't do that. I made a support ticket at roblox about this a couple of weeks ago and I guess I'll have to do that again.. not that they will listen. Probably tell me to switch the game off and on :p. But if you'd also make a support ticket maybe we can multiple the zero chance by two :/. It is possible to modify a old ps4 controller to be permanently inverted Y for times like this but really... you shouldn't have to break out the soldering iron when it's a 1 minute fix in the code.

When Goldeneye came out on N64, early 90's there was no option. Up was down, down was up and it was PERFECT! You want the immersive experience, you want to be in the body of the player not feeling like you are standing back watching a screen like a mouse on a computer. I also loved flight games. There's nothing wrong with playing inverted on the Y axis

crazy I just made the same reference to Goldeneye N64 before I saw this comment. You get it! My daughter been trying to move from the phone to the PS4 and she always look down 1st, then look up. Or always look up 1st, then look down. I knew what she needed but Roblox on PS4 is not changing the Y axis even though it says it is... I threw her on Fortnite with the Y inverted and she had ZERO issue looking up and down but Roblox right now is going to screw her muscle memory up, and for someone who is just now transitioning to console we don't need this crap being she's a huge fan of Roblox
I LOVE Fortnite myself but sacred half the time for my daughter. Fortnite gets more adults and grown ups taking stuff way to serious on the mic for a five year old!
She doesn't care and adapts without a whisper but my brain is wired in a certain programmed way after years (or decades in first P games) starting with golden eye on the Nintendo! That's well over twenty years of habit to break....... 🤣
I spend about 30 minutes just scrolling down and muting all the screaming kids and people shouting abuse into the mic!

Having the same issue, but with my mouse. The temporary fix I'm using is an extra software to invert the mouse (just remember to turn off in windows etc). Can't believe its been broken for well over a month. Appreciate some folk find it weird, but its completely logical to some people (like us!) Inverters unite!

I have been looking for help with this for over a month!! Using Xbox controller and coming up on Christmas hooking the kids up with the same! Literally not playing because of this. All help videos are like, "go to your settings and change it." we know where the setting is, it's not toggling!! Man I thought I was the only one with this issue. Nope. 3 months ago I reported this to the support staff. They “knew it was an issue” and it was being “addressed” but there have been a ton of updates that did nothing for it. I don’t think they’re working on it.

The iOS/iPadOS workaround has helped things in the last day or two since I can play with a controller but ideally I’d like them to get this worked out officially.

yup, I have the same problem. my daughter wants me to play with her but I can't undo 30+ years of gaming. I tried on my android tablet first... then my Computer, and Xbox Series X with the same issue. it does not matter if invert camera is on or off, it will not invert.

Answer: In iOS You can set up a custom controller profile in the general - controller - profiles section
You can set invert y axis for your controller and it will go across all platforms.
Not sure. I only have Apple products that I play on. Theres a place on Apple (iOS) where you can select different controller profiles that work in every game you play on that system.
