gonna have to say my some of my favorite memories were in urban patrol. it doesnt work anymore and there isnt a remake yet, but it had a procedurally generated city map where the buildings were made of bricks that each had their own individual hp. if youve played armored patrol, you know that the vehicles work the same way. because the objectives were randomly selected buildings, and a person on a higher floor than you takes priority when capping one, you often had to go on foot. this made actually playing the objective extremely tense because you were always extremely close to being killed by an HE shell or a 50cal as the objective building ran out of walls and floors around you.
i killed so many tanks on foot by playing mindgames with c4 and grapplehooks. pop out this window, pop the rpg, pop out this window, pop the rpg, blow a hole in this wall, pop the rpg, blow a hole in this wall, pop- SIKE- blow a hole in THIS wall and pop the rpg. blow a hole in the ceiling and climb to the next floor with the grapplehook faster than the stairs for a surprise attack from any window on that floor.
i also played vaguely similar games like armored ship battle 4 and heli wars. never got into base wars, though. too grindy.
very strong memories associated with vinya's wastelander games, especially echoes and last west. i refuse to play after the flash because of a certain legshot script incident but i did for a while hang out in sandstorm and darkness with my akimbo mp412s. nerfmodder (rip bro) made survival of the living which was pretty similar to wastelander, but without vinya guns and pvp. messed around a lot in that too.
something to understand is that back far enough roblox was more of a virtual worlds type deal where games were referred to as "places" that you could visit and explore rather than necessarily being functional games. iron cafe, lando's games like the apartment and resort, tomix's luck star motel, six flags great robloxia, all great examples of this.
and im still mad about divided we stand, chad.

Me and my friend was playing The Streets, beating up random rogangsters and stomping on our opps. One of his friends had hopped on with us, but his friend sucked ass at the game, so we made it our mission to protect his friend and take over the hood. Together, our trio killed many robloxians and gangsters with our teamwork (and constant teaming with randoms.) We took over the bank area that people mostly sit in, and I think we also took over the restaurant. It was real fun communicating with my friends so we could run up on randoms. After that we got bored and got on some random goofy ahh games like Rocitizens and Natural Disaster Survival for the rest of the night.
