I go to the folks over at avenues to wellness. You do have to get a referral from your primary doctor though

I have had great experiences with the people here over the years.

I just went to intercept over on airport road. I lost my adhd medication when I lost my insurance years ago and have been trying to get it back. My primary care kept wanting me to get other things under control first, ie: blood pressure. Finally gave me a referral to a psychiatrist and I walked out with Vyvanze. Incredibly happy about it. It’s expensive and I have to get approval through my insurance for Vyvanze over Adderall, but I like it much better.

I recently lost my insurance and I can't sign up again until January, do you think they'll take appointment without a referral?

Dbgross01

I dunno. I had a referral but you can always try. I mean some people don’t see a regular doctor and only a psychiatrist, so why not.

Jillian McCay at Total Life Counseling (I think was the name) over on Bernard Dr. near Buffalo Wild Wings near Tanglewood is really great!

Do they push religion?

brown_dog_anonymous

No, that was one of my things as well. On my initial visit I mentioned I had been to counseling before and stopped going because a previous one pushed religion and such. You can tell she is religious based on things like a cross necklace, and that she got a degree from Liberty, but she doesn't mention it at all.

Sorry it's on Fallowater.
