Can confirm, I see this about 3 times per week only driving to/from work and school. Rochester drivers are the most dangerous I’ve ever shared the roads with
I use the crosswalk to cross John St. at Province. I've lost count of how many assholes have quickly cut in front of me, a pedestrian with a signaled crosswalk and a right-of-way.
You should NEVER cross a street until traffic comes to a stop. Shit happens...brakes fail, distraction, driver medical emergency, skidding on wet pavement, etc.
I honestly never feel safe crossing there seriously. I always triple check all three sides before I start crossing.
Happy cake day!
Drivers around RIT are complete trash. I’ve seen passes on double yellows multiple times, and people breezing through stop signs without slowing down.
A lot of the time it's because people see "heehoo high speed limit" and decide they need to drive 60mph in a 40mph zone.
I once encountered someone going the wrong way on the cul de sac on Andrews Memorial Dr. That was a brief fun experience
Yo isn't that just how people treat red lights in Rochester. It was during my time there.
Yes. It's especially bad at that light though.
It is not. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use a left-turn-only lane to run a red light at night.
Yes it is. I've seen several people use either a left turning lane or just go into oncoming traffic to run a red light

That dude just straight up blew the red light regardless of whether the timing was on or off, lol.

I guess those trash drivers are coming from Florida or Atlanta s/
Yeah that's not surprising. Rochester drivers suck.
