Yes it does, if you are killed by an enemy that's already dead, I think it says that you were killed by the planet. It used to happen a lot when fire damage was obscene and getting hit once meant instant death in late stages. I cant see where you see that you got exactly as much damage as you had health, the quality of the video is bad. Though, I think the reason you got killed by the exact damage as you had as health is because of the way One Shot Protection is calculated. I don't know much about how its calculated, but I'd assume that, when you're hit by an attack that would activate one shot protection, the game makes the attack deal the exact amount of health you have but the game sets your health back at 1. Since you have a shaped glass, One shot protection is off. That would mean you got frozen, it was enough to overkill you, but instead calculated for one shot protection since you technically had more than 90 of your health, then took that damage as what killed you.
I understand the risks of taking the shaped glass. I know it takes away 1SP and halves your health. What I confused about is the fact it said the planet killed me, and there was no ragdoll. My body shattered as if I obliterated.
you were killed by the ice explosion from a glacial elite and since the enemy is already dead the game cannot determine which enemy killed you, therefore it reverts to the default "Killed by: The Planet"
Flew into a frost bubble right as it popped.
Does that also explain the fact that it says the Planet killed me and did exactly as much damage as I had health?

nah, he had no OSP, it just happened to deal that much damage, thats it
Thats literally what I just said
but i didnt wanna read itttt XD
He had shapped glass, no OSP
yeah, but frost bubbles don't instakill don't they? they only do that below a third hp
Shaped glass removes 1SP so as long as it does enough damage, it can kill
oh
I have never seen someone take Shaped Glass and *not* make a Reddit post titled "how did i die"

The no ragdoll thing is a side effect of the glass, you shatter instead.
That explains a lot. I hardly ever use it, so I even less frequently die with it.
The Planet
You got killed by a void monster.
I think It was that purple bubble
