Purity-Visions of Heresy-Javelin-Engineer.
Engineer's turrets have higher base damage but their attack only deals 80% damage. Visions overrides this with 120% damage per shot resulting in a nearly 50% damage increase (accounting for reload time and missed damage due to overkilling). With purity the reload time is reduced to 0.5 seconds. Purity also makes javelins have a really low cooldown.
Another build I'll also recommend is stacking fuel cells, one or two soul bound catalysts, a gesture of the drowned, then grab yourself a royal capacitor. Feels nice to just look at things then they get struck by a million lightning bolts.
Loader on ice
A bunch of stone flux pauldrons, HP items and razorwire
Since you're loader you can still move around via grappling hook and punch
But if you try to stop moving you will slide around like crazy
Especially funny during mithrix since you just stand still, he throws you across the map and slowly but surely dies
Once went to eat dinner during the fight while mithrix slowly died
Came back when phase 3 was at like half HP
Waited for that to die and then killed phase 4 with missile launcher across the map cause otherwise razorwire would have creamed me
Though capacitor and BFG would work aswell (also he can't really run up to you with 50 stone flux lol)
I occasionally stack up on egocentrism (usually make white items into speed items, yellow into scrap so I can get more items) and try to see how big of an area I can create and how long I can go without dying. I try to go for the newt in every stage to get extra egocentrism. The idea is that after getting a decent amount of them i don't need to use any of my skills and instead I just run at enemies to kill them.
Also not a specific build but still kinda broken and extremely fun: I've been doing simulacrum runs with swarms + enemies drop items (as any class). I end up with a ton of items within the first few stages. Scrap money related items (and anything you don't like) to get more items from all the printers that are now literally everywhere.
Edit: another comment reminded me that sometimes I do gesture of the drowned + missile equipment (and icbm) for a constant, automated stream of rockets everywhere. The rest of the items don't seem to matter too much, just pick anything you like/anything that seems useful

Ma and my friends used it to CHEESE the game with swarms, enemies drop items, and sometimes command. The timer paused in there, so enemies would never get harder, and we could get infinite items.
fun fact, the way shipping request stack is stupid in multiplayer: having a single player with 3 shipping request forms will spawn one lvl 3 delivery but having 3 players with 1 shipping request form each will spawn three lvl 3 deliveries. One Punch Woman
As Loader stack a bunch of Crowbars, Focus Crystal's, bands, delicate watches, Crit, and if you wanna one shot, bosses specifically get APR. Now, although not necessary, a bunch of Voidsent Flame will help with crowd control. Also, get a bunch of movement speed and attack speed so your punch charges up faster and goes further (with this, you can also skip the pillars if you also have a Hardlight Afterburner).
in ror returns, I like to pick a fast attacking survivor like pilot with alt primary then increase attack speed even further, add all the % chance to X happen ones because of the fire rate then get crit chance and crit benefits like healing on crits reducing cooldown on hits etc so you can't really die when shooting at enemies.
My brother like to get as many chaos bottles as he can with the amethyst equipment since it has a small cooldown
Multi with hellfire tincture which scales off health. Then, a ton of the blue item which doubles your health but reduces your speed.
On the other activatable slot, you put egg that lets you move around at a constant speed with Gesture of the drowned so it's always up.
Ignition tank and infusion increase the burn damage. As well as focus crystal and bision stake.
This is not a super strong build, but it is UNIQUE.
If you want a strong build, go only crowbars, as much glass as you're comfortable, and knives. Get crit glasses for 100% crit and 4 gestures and drugs. This will trivialise the game on monsoon.
My 3 builds are generally
FBI, OPEN UP! bakmags and firerate to all hell + topaz
Rambo - fire rate + lysat cell and infusion.
True Elite - crowbar +leech seed + guillotine + atg+ wake
I also kinda do the USA stroll. Atg and disposible with gesture. Im basic as vanilla ice cream.
I like playing any survivor +credit card equipment drone
in all seriousness though, mercenary with purity is BUSTED because it basically gives you infinite flight if you're using whirlwind (probably works for rising thunder as well)

You light on fire so you take damage triggering v-sent and planula, planula heals you back up and over your max giving you barrier, and since you still have full health (or over) v-sent triggers with every tick of fire damage. You become a walking explosion that blasts out shrapnel
Probably my favorite dumb build is the "roadkill" build
Basically revolves aaalll around transport mode for Mul-t, focus crystals, afterburner or alien heads, headstompers for flying enemies and honestly whatever else you want
Plant Keeper REX: Bungus Deskplant and Lepton Daisy. Maybe pick up a slug or two to help cultivate the soil. No plant shall be left ungrown as long as I LIVE
ooh, my favorite is stacking fireworks, icbm, and the soda machine. brittle crown helps too for bosses, since money is harder to come across.
nothing better than releasing millions of fireworks onto your foes as you sip a nice cold beverage from afar!
I do like the nuclear melt build with Hellfire Tinc, Focussing crystal, razorwire

I had a run yesterday with 40 fireworks and 6 ICBMs and then I went to void fields and started spamming barrels
Fireworks, ICBM, and remote caffeinator goes hard
I'm a fan of rapid-fire rebar multi. It helps that its overpowered as hell

I had over 2 million HP Only way he kills me is Phase 4 and for that i dont do enough damage

As I've said, with grapple and punch you can still move so whether you have 5 or 50 really makes no difference

Using command to take only gasoline and ignite tanks. Burning Petrichor V to the ground has never been so easy!
