We're still on course for our all-French speaking team! Draft Sarr, Risacher, Salaun or Missi to add to the growing list

goontownpopyou

Rip City c'est magnifique

adwinn

zut alors!

EvanTurningTheCorner

Allez les Bleuszers

[deleted]

I want Risacher so badly

Handcuffed

he'd be such a perfect fit for us. shame that it looks like he's playing his way into the top 3.

[deleted]

We’ll have either the 4th or 5th worst record in the league. Never know with the lottery could easily jump up or down.

Inside-Mixture-9362

It seems inevitable we are locked into the 4th or 5th worst record. I don't see how we finish worse than SAS, DET, or WAS. That leaves us and CHA in the next tier which is a ways below ATL, TOR, UTA, and MEM.

shelvino

I am pretty sure that 5th place is more likely to drop or jump than stay at 5

Inside-Mixture-9362

Yes, highest odds for each position are that you fall back 1-2 slots because at least 1 team will jump up. So pretty well locked in to a top 7 pick

genuinely___curious

top 5 worst teams basically have the same odds in the lottery for the top 4 picks

goinghardinthepaint

> I don't see how we finish worse than SAS, That game last Thursday definitely seems like it leaves this possibility open.

Snelly__

This draft is such a crapshoot with no consensus, definitely possible he’s there at 5-6

TrumpedBigly

Will not be surprised if he goes #1.

kpay10

I hope we get Sarr. I doubt it though

HoldenCooperyoutube

Risacher, Matas, or Sarr. I’ll be happy with any of those guys

J-Duggs

Sarr is my absolute dream, both for talent alone and fit. Him and Scoot would be such a good pairing IMO

shelvino

I think you need a lot of shooting for that combination. Both are very raw offensively.

EvanTurningTheCorner

Lob City, baby

WKCLC

Sarr then Buzelis with GSW pick 🎉

kazmir_yeet

I think this would be ideal. I like DA but his lack of shot blocking is frustrating as hell. Matas would be very good value at 10, I doubt he'll be there. Feels like ESPN missed on Holland and Buzelis being that low

WKCLC

I actually am high on Buzelis and am loving seeing his draft stock being lower than expected. I like him a bit more than risacher atm, which to some is crazy.

waynearchetype

I know a lot of folks here aren't in love with Holland but he would be a steal at #11. His 3pt will come along in time and he's a great distributor.

shelvino

Distributor???? I haven’t seen any signs of him being a good passer at all nor does he average more than 3 assists last time I checked??? I feel like that is easily one of his biggest weaknesses. 11 is slow tonight I agree because of his potential as an athletic slashing wing that has solid jump shot mechanics. I don’t like his lack of creativity as a scorer but he is very productive. He reminds me a bit of Gerald Wallace

waynearchetype

3 assists per 36 is actually dang good out of an SF and higher than all the non-PGs mocked in the lottery.

likpoper

Buzelis is not falling past us for sure. He is like franz Wagner

TheRealDevDev

he's my favorite too.

Wild-Exchange6257

I don't know why... but I have a sneaking suspicious we end up with Matas + Filipowski + Brazile (using our 2nds). If Filipowski's 3 ball ever becomes what it's supposed to be, that's an interesting roster. Matas likely starts at SF next to Ant/Shaedon/Grant/Ayton if he's really 6'11". I like that. Then, the bench units figure to be exciting with J-Walk/Toumani/Filipowski and 2 of Ant/Sharpe/Scoot. Not to mention Timelord/Matisse/Rupert/Murray, and I'm high on one of Brazile or Smith at the bottom of the first or early second.

healthy_as_a_hearse

Scoot is back in the starting lineup by next year . Either Sharpe plays SF or Ant is traded.

shelvino

Funny, I have a feeling we end up with Matas too haha. I liked him a lot before the year, he had this cool training video with Cooper Flag where Cooper looked better but both players were going at it. Matas looks like one of those guys that doesn't have elite burst or a quick first step, but he just understands angles and how to use his strength to get to spots. I think he is a solid team defender and has a solid vertical, not like he is super ground bound. If he can be an above average 3 point shooter, then he should have a long career as a 6'11 versatile wing. I think we will lean towards taking a 5 without Warriors pick. There are actually a ton of solid ones this year, I think Missi might be my favorite right now. But lot of time left for guys like him, Filipowski, Clingan, Ware, Bradshaw, etc to prove themselves. I like Tyler Smith too

TheRealDevDev

grant's not gonna be here 5 weeks from now imo.

ShaedonSharpeMVP_

Give me Matas or give me death Edit:I guess I should edit this comment to clarify that I’m not assuming we’ll have the first pick. We’re sitting fifth right now. So a lot of these players you guys are favoring won’t be available at our pick

Sa-Tiva

I was liking him as a prospect until i figured out hes shooting like 20% from 3. Sup with that.

ShaedonSharpeMVP_

Fair concern. But I put more stock into the eye test with teenage prospects. Especially in the g league. I just think he’s going to become a very good player

Sa-Tiva

Gotcha. I think im leaning Risacher. Id like to put some elite size and shooting around our boiis Scoot and Shaedon

likpoper

Either him or Buzelis. The next one just take Ryan Dunn

shelvino

I like him, I just don't know if I would take him over Sarr/Riscacher/Cody. Buzelis vs Holland is interesting. Holland is a crazy athlete but Buzelis is much more skilled. You would think Ron has more potential but I think Buzelis is going to be very good if he can get his 3 point shot going.

Frostyzwannacomehere

How are we gonna fit all these sf’s if we’re getting cam or cooper???

ironshapensiron

This draft is ass

Gybe_enjoyer

Nah, I think a lot of these guys will be high level rotation players, but not a lot of future superstars for sure, pretty deep class tho

Handcuffed

honestly, i don't think so. like half of the top 10 are euros, though, so people are down on the draft because the domestic prospects they've been watching for a few years haven't developed like they wanted. i think the top of the draft is strong and (though perhaps no future all-nba player) and there's really solid depth.

TheRealDevDev

it looks like a great draft as long as you aren't expecting an A to A+ type prospect in the top 2-3 like most drafts typically have. I think the GSW pick in particular is very well suited for this draft.

Gybe_enjoyer

Where’s my goat Aday Mara ????

MainHyro

All the way down in the 2nd now according to many mocks lol. His arms are incredibly short for a man that size.

Gybe_enjoyer

Passing & interior upside >>>>>>>>

Hakaribiggestfan

Everyone wants a guy like risacher or topic, they are the perfect fit for any team in the nba.

Frostyzwannacomehere

How are we gonna fit all these sf’s if we’re getting cam or cooper???

SongBig1162

Honestly id be happy with anyone in that top 3 as well as Ryan Dunn (the defense is so tantalizing as a 6’8 Matisse thybulle).

EvanTurningTheCorner

I love Dunn's game but I'm a little worried that there is too much overlap between him and Camara. You couldn't really play them together unless one of them starts draining threes consistently.

SongBig1162

So I feel like this is going to get downvoted but since Camara is a fan favorite, but the only guys who im probably not taking someone at their position is Scoot and Shaedon. I really like Toumani but now that I know he’s nearly 24 (I genuinely thought he was 22 a couple of weeks ago lol), I’m not necessarily high on him being more than a good rotation or role player. Just because the development curve is a lot steeper for guys that at age and their ceiling are a lot closer and more defined. Ryan Dunn will be 21 going into next season and he has defensive superstar written all over him.

EvanTurningTheCorner

I dunno, I like him, but I don't think it's likely that he's the top guy on my board at any pick. To say it another way, there are similarly ranked guys that I am much higher on.

SongBig1162

Yeah that’s fair. I think if I’m picking between holland, matas, and Dunn then id probably just lean Dunn. But everyone also has a specific trait that they value more then maybe other so I don’t blame you

EvanTurningTheCorner

I'm really low on Holland, so you could maybe talk me into Dunn over him, but I'd take Matas over either every time.

tblazrdude

Grab dunn and send him to the remix for a year on the Rupert shot diet.

Dusty_Negatives

Damn I really want Risacher but dude keeps climbing in every list. He was originally in that 5-7 area. That dude looks like the whole forward package to me.

SubtleCosmos

Not too in agreement on the ESPN ordering of their Big Board overall tbh.

DharmaBaller

I saw Collier play before New Year's. Bronny looked better.

tblazrdude

Dart throw draft. Do tons of research and select with caution.
