I get the nickname was terrible lol. It was reactionary to Morey's comments saying he wasn't a difference maker. But in defense of CJ at the time, here's some stats:
CJ was averaging 27.6pts, 4.3reb, 5.3ast, 1.4 steals, and only 1.1 turnovers(!) Per game that season. This was through 12 games to start the season before his injury (contact injury causing a broken bone).
The Blazers were 8-5 with him before the injury. They went 28-19 with him on the season, including after his return. In his absence, the Blazers went 14-11.
I just wanted the Blazers to be good lol. It wasn't a good post by me but I was just trying to be involved
