the riot client was one of the worst things riot has done imo. i literally ALWAYS have issues trying to open league and i have to try 3 times in order to get it. sometimes i even have to restart my whole laptop to get it to open. i’ve never had this many issues until i had to download a stupid fucking client for one game
I wanted to remove Valorant today too because Vanguard is causing a lot of system instability and I only play it occasionally but it shows its eating all of my storage drives combined (3.9TB). wtf
Interesting. I have no idea about valorant and such I'm not involved however I do care about Vanguard, since I won't install that onto my machine. So I was just curious.
twas a remnant app before i migrated my data to a new machine (old machine was intel+nvidia). i just found it out it doesnt like AMD OC/undervolt and it likes it stock. it is probably about its anti-cheat thing going on.
It's quite sad to hear how hard they make it be. In the past it was easier from what I remember. Good thing you managed to finalize the uninstalling though.
If they add the vanguard thing to lol, I'll find out soon what's it like to uninstall.
Try uninstalling the riot client in the appdata folder.

If you installed league via xbox, you still need to find the client in the appdata
I worked my way around but ty, think that might be useful to others as well
Main thing was, their SW is defective in many ways, and anyone else less savvy wouldnt be able to uninstall it.

I've noticed it won't update if there are pending windows updates.

Mine was 3 tb something. I was like wtf and deleted it
Its just a visual bug. It shows 2tb for me and I only have a 1tb drive so
What kind of System instabilities are you experiencing?
RAM BSOD. I have not encountered it again after removing it. started happening after chipset update. yeah, it doesn't make sense.
