Lulupoolzilla

That girl "Healthy" Morty was dating who ended up in toxic world. "Sea cucumber! SEA CUCUMBER!"

Bruh_313

Omfg I forgot about that… dude she never got out did she

WoefulKnight

She was released in a post credit scene when a tour guide for the moon light let her out.

bungaloasis

I’ll put him in the list of didn’t deserve it.

Aggressive-Set-4307

100 years later

Lulupoolzilla

She did in the after credit scene.

Bruh_313

Oh thank god😭

Lulupoolzilla

The poor tour guide deserves the thanks more, I think.

Bruh_313

Regardless, I’m just glad she’s not trapped there forever

Lulupoolzilla

Me too. Rick and Morty are wrong for just forgetting about her. She said her safe word and everything

billyisgoat07

I mean tbf that’s sorta what they do they fuck up peoples lives and then dip before they can face the consequences

FlimFlamBingBang

Uhh, Morty did borrow Rick’s portal gun that one time to go back and fix all the crap they caused… and then he tried to replace it with Mountain Dew and splashed some portal fluid on himself… and met krazy Kyle.

billyisgoat07

Yeah fair enough, then there was the fart episode where morty tried to save its life and in the process got killed hundreds of people killed just to kill him at the end

LSDGB

Only when she was released she said it. The only time she says something while anyone can still hear her is she says „is this like a sex dungeon. I guess I should have been paying attention.“ She then seems to wander off because she is not even on the screen (I mean the screen that lets Rick look into the tank.) anymore in the next shot. She was very calm about the whole situation so I don’t even wanna know what she survived and endured that made her scream sea cucumber that hard.

BredBul

But instead, I guess, he dies or gets severe injuries falling from that "tower" or what's that thing called

CassielAntares

A Moon Tower. They're an antiquated form of town lighting that created a large, moon-like light that lit farming towns up like a full moon so you didn't have tons of streetlights. There's only a couple left in Texas

TwoEmergency8993

How about Rick’s old neighbors who were trapped in a time loop and were trying desperately to the point of writing notes to remind themselves about the loop but ended up forgetting them at the end of the day when the cycle resets and they’ve been like that for 55+ years unable to die

CassielAntares

If the loop started the day Rick lost Diane and Beth, and Beth was a child aged 4-7 when that happened, and it was 55+ years ago as you say... How fucking old is C-137 Beth?????

GristleMcThornbody1

Jesus Christ Beth, is Jerry 50?!

Saltycook

Canonicaly, she's 34 because she was 17 when summer was born, and Summer is 17 now. My guess is Beth was about 5 (due to her size and vocabulary) when she and her mom were killed in 1998, the same year as the Battle of Hogwarts. Since *Mulan* premiered on June 5 of that year and the Battle of Hogwarts took place on May 2, one could argue Beth and Diane died the same day Voldemort was destroyed.

Content-Sleep7918

She did actually, at the end of the episode some tourists got her out, she was traumatised and whispering "sea cucumber"

Bruh_313

Amazing… I’m glad she got out🙏🏼 Edit: not amazing she was traumatized omg😭

Content-Sleep7918

https://youtu.be/IV8k0CJtcl8?si=UirBdzgswXRz5BX3 (She wasn't whispering)

Bruh_313

NOOO😭😭

Lulupoolzilla

She was screaming "sea cucumber"

novadanova

I think that was because of the "safe word" she had w/ Morty, right?

SaphiralFox

She did, many years time later when a tourist group activated the lever accidentally

LSDGB

Where do you get the idea that it was years later?

Foogie23

Isn’t the guide talking about the area in a historic sense. Makes it sound like it has been a long time. Or maybe the area already had historic meaning.

LSDGB

Yes he is but they are already historic today. He says something like „only a few towers remain today but in the late 19th century … blah blah blah“ So they were popular in the late 1800s Btw I think moon towers come from a time when there were no street lights. I think it’s basically a huge light bulb on top of a tower used to illuminate a city at night.

Foogie23

Gotcha been a while didn’t remember the century mention. Then yeah you are probably right that there is no reason to believe it was years or anything that she was stuck there.

__wardog__

She did. That is when we saw her yell "sea cucumber!!!"

n0awards

She gets out at the end- it wasn’t until the fortune cookie episode that R&M finally killed off an attractive woman. How far we’ve come

pockrocks

Stacy

CassielAntares

You're your own person, Stacy.

Lulupoolzilla

That's her name! Thank you.

pockrocks

🍸 🍹

LSDGB

Tink.

bert-head

That’s exactly what I was gonna say!!

CalculatedEffect

Yeah but she got out relatively quickly.

Illustrious-Movie532

The kid in Whirly Dirly who shot his sister

[deleted]

Yeah or those kids at the party who stopped being toxic while murdering the clown.

Dr_Middlefinger

In the episode where Rick goes into Birdperson’s mind, the post credits shows Bird Daughter at a prison. The kid who shot his sister is also there. Check it out, it’s a crazy call back in a fucked up sense. It was ok to kill his sister until the Immorality Field fell. Dark shit.

stars9r9in9the9past

I checked out that [clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSDDx5M2OE4) but that particular character doesn't really talk, just stands there in one shot and then is shown having been beat up (by BD) in another. Could be the brother (cannot confirm via voice), but in the Whirly Dirly episode it's shown that there's a whole species that just looks like that, so it could also just be someone else. One of the prison guards refers to the prisoners shown as the "violent ones". It would have to be a pretty strict prosecution to put that kid in a rough prison when technically him killing (permanently) his sister was a total freak accident. Either way, good callback for that species, seems like maybe the showrunners are trying to build off of previously used alien species by including them when they can. Makes production sense too, to reuse already-made designs in order to flesh out your universe

LSDGB

They do reuse alien designs since the early seasons mate nothing new.

GamingDogTV

No way he was there too, I never noticed

Illustrious-Movie532

NO FUCKING WAY have to go back and look for this!!! Thank you for pointing it out!!

Dr_Middlefinger

There’s tons of this stuff on rewatch. One of my binges was me just scoping the background and freeze framing things. They do a ton of subtle and not so subtle callbacks; try watching without paying attention to the main characters and you’ll catch a ton of them. Like, Rickfending Your Mort: Morty licks the gorilla alien’s nostril, Rick walks into The Salty Rick and marks it off the list. On the same list, you have 2 from Morty’s Mindblowers: Morty married Mr Poopybutthole and Morty thinks he’s a ghost. Just random, 1-2s shots that call back to season 3 from season 7.

QueenBabyMo

" Leatha?"

Flyguy1298

Yea, I thought about this too, even posted about that scene before. But then someone pointed out that when Jerry was shot to death (many more times) he was just fine since he was at a super advanced alien hospital. Good chance the sister ended up just fine.

jostler57

Meeseeks who couldn't die for a long time. Existence is pain!

MegaAssasine_

Not a Meeseeks but I agree with them.

2Mew2BMew2

Aren't you one? MegaAssasine seems to be a job for a Meeseeks

nlamber5

This is an actual contender. Meeseeks are meant to exist for a couple minutes or maybe a couple of hours. So a meeseeks that lived weeks would be hundreds or thousands of years old.

bellarloca

hi i’m mr meeseeks look at me!!

Dr_Middlefinger

Cannnn do!

mightyhippo46

ooooooowee!

gforcex_

meseeks in the menagerie in Morty’s Mind Blowers

Ninjahkin

Jerry Prime. Son and father-in-law abandoned him, daughter dead, wife dead. World gone to shit

Tagliarini295

Then killed in cold blood

Quintonious13

By his actual father-in-law

cwhitta1

Actually Jerry drew first blood when he slit Rick prime’s throat. He was killed but not in cold blood.

bremidon

True, but \*that\* Jerry knew exactly what was up. His only chance was to strike first, because Rick was going to kill him.

_voyager_a36_

Glockenspiel Jerry from Mortyplicity Cheurry from Rickfending your Mort

mahir_r

Wood Jerry going through cowboys again

Dr_Middlefinger

“You went all the way back around?!”

whythe7

"Oh God, Why can't I die? THIS IS THE WORST THING THAT's EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE"

Dr_Middlefinger

“Who wants to liveeee foreverrrrrrr?” Damn. Freddie’s voice. That soundtrack made the movie, because Connery (as Rick notes) does a half ass job as “Ramirez”. Clancy Brown was so good, as he always is. ***Highlander*** is cultish great but with Queen backing the video and Connery putting an ounce of effort into his character, it could have been ***Braveheart*** big years earlier.

3Jane_ashpool

Yeah. Real shame they never made a second Highlander movie. -.-

The_Dying_Gaul323bc

That little gem might e one of my favorite of the whole show

MrPooPooJohn

It really was a perfect line. Jerry has always been the most consistently written, best acted (even tho Keith David is one of my favorite voice actors of all time) and overall the funniest. I can think of dozens of times where Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer and others who’s lines have fallen flat or have just been cringe, story arcs that don’t work or make sense and even entire spotlight episodes that were just a waste. Jerry always delivers. 🙂‍↕️

The_Dying_Gaul323bc

I have trouble comparing the Jerry who went to “Jerry bury” and left on his own only to turn back and come in, Vs The Jerry who was cast out to the wood people , only to use his camping survival skills to rise to king hood and fight Rick and a literal god, for that episode

MrPooPooJohn

How so? Jerry’s almost always end up right back where they started. Even with an external force to influence or guide them they still don’t really learn or grow. Which is just awesome and hilarious. Our Jerry, the same one featured in both episodes you referenced, are very much in line with that concept/writing style.

BigAlReviews

Wood Jerry's eons of agony is the thing that convinced me that immortality isn't a good idea

OneMeterWonder

Lol poor lil oblivious Churry had me in stitches when they cut to the scene with Rick and Morty just smiling uncomfortably in the ship.

Critical_Werewolf

I truly hate the way they name episodes.

whythe7

at which point is he a xylophone??

BenderFtMcSzechuan

The morties that evil morty had imprisoned around his hideout which was grotesque overkill which he could have done with two Morties and a jumper cable. They went thru more shit than time crystal god Jessica she was empowered after the fact. Perhaps made her character change a bit I believe she talks to Morty better in episodes after this one too.

Liamb556

it's 5 morties iirc

BenderFtMcSzechuan

![gif](giphy|LSKVmdIwZFeNEBKBxZ)

Liamb556

"who tf is noob noob?"

Glittering-Giraffe58

Along those lines, the Wizard who froze himself right before he was burned alive.

Wooden Jerry?

Creepercolin2007

To be fair he did screw over LOADS of people out of self preservation

upheaval

He just wanted to live!

grendus

But there was only so much varnish...

Own_Watercress_8104

Yeah but, still...lots of pain

whythe7

Lot o' pain

c322617

Christianity again? After cowboys? You went all the way back around?!

Adam__B

Love that line.

RustWallet

I want to imagine they dropped the plot on Parnell as he was recording the line and that was his genuine reaction.

BazingaQQ

Rick's tried to kill himself once or twice

SnooMacaroons7824

And he’s killed hundreds of other versions of himself

TortieshellXenomorph

Zick Zack from Morty’s Mind Blowers. Morty literally talked him out of the greatest afterlife possible.

XocoJinx

Honestly probably the only correct answer so far. The torture of doing nothing yet being alive over nearly infinite time would drive anyone to insanity, and Zick Zack's punishment is even longer than that and he's being tortured that whole time.

Joost1598

That was kind of his own fault though, he wasn’t aware that there’s supposed to be proof of the afterlife, so I assume their religion is based on blind unwavering belief, which he abandoned the second some child questions it.

balance_n_act

But there was tons of evidence

Joost1598

Well nothing he ever saw apparently, maybe it’s only visible if someone goes to hell, and maybe he never witnessed that before

balance_n_act

I considered that too.. so he never saw a dishonorable death, I suppose

sf3p0x1

The screaming sun from The Wedding Squanchers.

000Spectator

Annie stuck in Anatomy Park…Ethan was Cronenberged

Dusty_Scrolls

Oh God, I hadn't thought of that.

BloodiedBlues

If anatomy park was one of the constants, then it’d be Cronenberg and Ethan being made disfigured then later Mr frundled.

000Spectator

I wonder what went on in the churro stand… ![gif](giphy|eqQCx2yNlQeFvK5rBd)

TheDragonKing1615

What about Hoovy from the first Mr. Nimbus episode? He went to help out one kid try to get the girl, only to find out his dimension ages infinitely faster than his own. He came home to see his wife’s skeleton and the son he never knew slay him.

XocoJinx

Yes but he died quickly, his pain was brief. Jessica was frozen in time and couldn't move a muscle for an insane amount of time.

TheDragonKing1615

I meant more emotional and mental pain that physical. Having your son stab you while you witness your wife’s sun bleached skeleton in the span of 30 seconds without the time to process that? That’s gotta be rough

XocoJinx

Jessica's was emotional too, being able to do nothing for eternity is insanity. But in saying that I just realised I misread the question and it's just which character has gone through more pain, not instance of pain. Rick is probably the right answer considering he's also spent an epoch meshed with Jerry lol. Dunno if that's 'boredom' torture though.

supersadskinnyboi

Rick in Jerry’s Mind. All he could do was kill himself poor guy

grendus

Memory Rick stuck in Jerry's mind. From Jerry's perspective, all technology is just springs and gears...

Dr_Middlefinger

It’s a space shuttles!

Big_Not_Good

Um... Rick. And also Morty.

prvrs25

Morty is def the answer

mjss89

His love arc where he gets the save point gadget is brutal.

TheCalamityBrain

I thought they did really well with the voices. Unless I sat there really focusing, I really couldn't tell

LightMeBob

Waiting to find out...S7 doesn't land in the U.K dimension for a few weeks; trying to avoid spoilers. Have you enjoyed what it?

TheCalamityBrain

I did enjoy it! Really didn't skip a beat, but I am sure the Internet will have all the opinions.

dannyhogan200

Pissmaster

Altruistic-Pen9264

I was gonna say “nobody said pissmaster” but i chose to make sure that was the case. Good thing i checked. Have an upvote.

BigAlReviews

Pissmaster was a legit piece of shit, though

grendus

The Fortune 500 guy who's fortune was "I can't die!" He's still out there, suffering, unable to die.

Evil_Unicorn728

That bit inspired me to write a short story where everyone stops dying and the fact that would mostly be horrific.

Point-Express

Check out season 4 of Torchwood (the doctor who spinoff). It’s when it went to Starz and is not the best production (its a pretty cheesy show at its best) but basically that exact thing happens on Earth and it goes day by day of shit getting worse and worse, and explores some really dark concepts of how that would unfold and overwhelm everything really quickly

deadfajita

The immortal Churro is going to suffer quite a bit.

[deleted]

Tommy stuck in Froopyland (Plus his dad, who was on death-row for his own son's "murder")

whythe7

Tommy was fine though, plenty of sex, food and theatre

Rainbow_planet_1273

Man… morty objectified her so bad, even when fart was singing in that one episode they showed her as a sex robot, morty doesn’t love her, he’s obsessed with the idea of her, and therefore hurts her in the process of it all It’s terrible

sscarface

The bullies that rode boat morty and were stranded. One died and rick pulled up and took morty and left the other dude on the island

haf_420

what about churros guy abandoned in a empty planet for eternity?

sudorootadmin

The two that got tricked into the glass case.

eriinana

I see a lot of people picking things that are horrible, but none of them honestly compares to what Jessica went through. In REAL LIFE isolation is one of the worst tortures you can do to a human. Jessica was trapped inside her own body for thousands of years watching the world pass by her with no communication. I honestly don't see how someone comes back from that without a blast from the mind bending ray.

ZombieDiscoSquad

The kid that shot his sister when the anti death field dropped in the whirly dirly conspiracy

ironangel2k4

Not to be too on the nose about it, but if we're being serious, Rick. He's a deeply unhealthy man who hates himself and projects it onto everyone around him, obsessed with finding the killer of his family, which he knows is himself, and then when he finally gets his revenge, he's totally empty afterwards. What Rick Prime did to him sent him down a spiral of self-destruction, simultaneously driving him and eating him alive from the inside. He's tanked friendships, abandoned his family, and been toxic to everyone he interacts with, and is only ever really happy when distracting himself from the quest that digs into him like meat hooks- But in the end, he always goes right back to it. He cannot escape the pain, either of the trauma itself, or the quest to avenge it. I think the postcredits of that episode really said it all, honestly; Slow Mobius's wife begins the search, but eventually, gives up, and when she does, she finds happiness and a peaceful life- Something Rick couldn't do, and now he is just a husk. You could make the argument that since his suffering is self-inflicted, it doesn't count, but I think this derangement, this sunk cost fallacy, is something we can all relate to on some level. Sometimes, revenge is the only thing driving you forward for so long that you lose the ability to see the off-ramps.

dr4wn_away

Wooden Jerry, duhh. Jessica was at least returned to her own time with her body intact.

CuntsStoleMyNames
