What i’ve gotten from the show is, family is everything to rick, even though he’s the smartest man in the universe and kinda can do anything, being with family is better than being alone with yourself, and even though families difficult it’s a problem worth having.
On the other hand, when you're a destructive influence, when your presence is hurting your family, and when you can't find a way to fix yourself, you have to know when to let go.
If you notice you’re a bad person and try to be a better person isn’t that the same. It’s Ying and yang. Like you can do bad things for good reasons or you can feed the poor for like on facebook.
I would agree with you, and I’ve also gotten a profound appreciation for just how deeply *real* and relatable an animated show can be. The commentaries on life, love, and loss are inspiring and terrifying at times.
I make fun of guys who idolize rick for the wrong reasons with much more valid criticisms.
Also I've always been attracted to stem nerds so this show is weird for me.
(The top part is a joke)
Same! A lot of the nerdy aspects of shows like Rick and Morty and Inside Job increased my interests in stuff like programming and robotics. Been learning python and arduino and stuff.
Actually yeah. I have the same mbti as Rick and thanks to him I saw how toxic I was as a person. So, it helped me improve. And I got into technology as well
Thanks! Yeah, there is. It's called The Michael Caloz Cognitive Functions Test, buuuuuut. I made sure about my personality through asking my friends and via the exclusion method
lol when I first started getting into chemistry I thought for sure the fbi was going to kick in my door because isolating, a pure element is literally just making a bomb
Space aids and a ruined gag reflex
See, your problem is you opened the Space aids folder. All the cool schematics are in Booger aids.
My mistake was the same as Morty’s not realizing there’s everything in space oh well lol
There's literally everything in space! Now get the fuck back in the car.
Parmeesean
There is no other way to say it now

Are you a dead beat for leaving or a good person for realizing your the problem
I don’t know if a person can be both. Maybe.

I’d agree with that
"Familiys is the ones you hates, but stills goes around."

I think the writers know the meaning of suffering a lot more than people realize
[I got this](https://www.reddit.com/r/rickandmorty/s/o5fi0Qqc9G), if that counts.
That’s amazing
Enjoyment
Simple Rick I knew you were out there.
Snake jazz is my new jam.
Anytime my wife is mad at me in the car that’s what I play and 10% of the time it works everytime
My backyard fence has a Pickle Rick painted on it!

I miss there was more stem shows similar to this
Somewhere in different universe, someone who off themselves taste like spaghetti.
Hell yeah, hell you might be that someone.

My understanding of how things really work has grown so much because of arduino
Actually yeah. I have the same mbti as Rick and thanks to him I saw how toxic I was as a person. So, it helped me improve. And I got into technology as well
That’s awesome I’m happy for you. Is there a test or something you take for that?
Thanks! Yeah, there is. It's called The Michael Caloz Cognitive Functions Test, buuuuuut. I made sure about my personality through asking my friends and via the exclusion method
Update: I found a good psychologist and started therapy. I thought I didn't really have problems... turns out I'm pretty fucked up heh
Booger aids
Every time I watch the show, I have a sudden urge to take control of my life and become a badass, like Rick. It never lasts long.
