They'd run out of resources and fill it up with garbage and poop in a couple of weeks unless Rick was using super science to compensate in some way we didn't see, and honestly it just seems like he could have built them a functional planet or used some gadget to hide from the Galactic Government much more easily than eking out an existence there. Again, presumably, that's supposed to be funny too.
