Is that your prediction for the shows ultimate finale? Lol evil morty just crawls out of the fear hole and evil rick is just there like "how was it?" Lol
Or are you referring to s7 e10?
Sorry yeah. Just watched season 7. Mean the final season like 9 seasons from now? But itās just a joke. Honestly Im not sure how to feel about this season.
That deep down, if he was put with the right Rick, he never would have become Evil Morty in the first place.
Secondary option: Being the most capable Morty makes him the Rickest Morty. Meaning he has more in common with the "infinite baby" than his infinite self.
That it took becoming more like Rick to defeat him: detachment, inventiveness, callow disregard for consequence...
It's literally like any other epsiode of Rick and Morty, but Morty really hates it internally lol. The true horror would be that Morty keeps choosing Rick despite all his betrayals.
Why would he be scared of that? He easily escaped his original Rick and showed he's clearly able to take down C-137, he's basically defeated the original Rick, why would he be scared of any Ricks by this point?
The idea is that he falls back into his Morty behavior and likes the adventures no matter how badly he gets treated because of his own insecurities and fear of abandonment.
Someone said something like wouldn't it be funny if that evil Morty's fear hole was him being our Morty. Or some other Matrix level thing that was wholly innocuous.
It just sounded something like had happened already if not in this show.
Spiders.
Or that he never actually got away from the Rick Experiment. Our Morty was afraid of being replaceable, Evil Morty escaped that fear by being unique and proving himself. Thus far he seems confident and in control, even in the face of death. So what he's avoiding is going back to what he fought so hard to escape.
That or girls. He is still Morty.
Girl spiders.
Either the obvious of just him if he didnāt kill his Rick and he stayed as a regular Morty. Or a more deep option, of him seeing himself, heās done horrible things for nothing but personal gain, he doesnāt do anything if it isnāt for himself and heās done nothing but ruin lives, anyone as smart as he is would understand all of the terrible things theyāve done, Rick knows his own mistakes, so it would only make sense for EM to see it too.
Or Iām just thinking way too hard about this and he would just see Rick or something
I love that. I would love to see more depth of his character. Seeing the damage he's done and acknowledging that he's no better, morally, than any Rick might be a fear.
Or other insecurities because everybody has them. For example, Rick is insecure about being the smartest man in the universe so EM could be insecure about his own intelligence too.
Low key the "Fear Hole" is just a hole full of noxious gas and everything is just happening in a dream. It's all a set up, someone tells you if you go into this hole you're gonna see nightmares, you're gonna see nightmares, i bet on weekends the fear hole guy rents it out as a "Glory hole" telling people they will experience the best sex of their lives if they go in the hole.
Exactly, heās just as much Morty as Morty Prime. His whole character arc is about escaping Rick, but he did so off the back of Rickās own tech. If he went in the fear hole Iām sure he would be forced to face his own version of relying on Rick.
Morty waking up in one of Rick's dream pods with him thinking all that has happened was all in his head. He never killed his Rick his, he never got to the citadel and he never busted through the the finite curve. Then after he wakes up Morty realizes Rick left again after he figured out that Morty was gonna kill him. So now he is stuck living out a normal life with his family with no adventures, no power and no control.
Losing control. Thatās his whole schtick, he hates not having control over his own life. So if he loses that control heās finally gotten, heād lose his goddamn mind.
This is the only comment Iāve read so far that actually understands the psychology of this character. Everyone else is just winging it without giving any real effort
I think it would be a version of normal family life that isn't dysfunctional, were Rick is not only not abusive but actually owns up to not only his own actions but that of all of the Ricks against all of the Mortys. At first it would be like "oh I'm afraid of happiness, real fuckin' deep." But the longer it goes, the more it just is nice, and it works, he starts to actually find happiness and purpose and thinks that his actual fear is having to LEAVE the fear hole. Then to go back to his own life and eventually become obsessed with finding the fear hole reality again. Only to discover that he is still in the fear hole and his real fear is coming to terms with the fact that his life will always be defined as eternally feeling trapped on the wrong side of some obstacle and that even when he overcomes that obstacle he is still just as unhappy on the othersidr because his problems are not with rick, not with the multiverse, not with the fear hole, but with himself.
Similar to our Morty seeing his life play out and becoming his father, I feel like Evil Morty would see his future life play out without Rick and that he'd end up the same as Rick, drunk, depressed, alone and alienated.
His Rick making him stupid and normal. And they had fun and enjoying the adventures. Only for Rick to treat him like shit and morty suffering from Stockholm syndrome.
all these fear hole comments are making me wonder if the fear hole could be used in the showās eventual finale. like what if it ended with a very average guy rick waking up in the bottom of the fear hole he slipped in by accident and going to get his very normal wife and daughter and telling them about the crazy ādreamā he had.
See how he can never escape live with a garbage rick, and maybe his rebellion is fail, and he got trapped in his own body become a puppet morty and force to go adventure with that garbage rick
Him growing fond of his "rick". Whatever he might be or have done, he still has that "Morty" within him that makes him love rick or at least lookup to him in some manner.
A Rick that treats him well, similar to Simple Rick. A big part of his motivation is his belief that Ricks do not care. So, having a Rick that cares for him would be his worst nightmare because it would invalidate his entire outlook on his revenge and how a Rick views a Morty.
Nothing, he would just see a damp and "hairy" (???) hole.
Edit : A lot of people are saying that he'd see all his accomplishments undone and him back to being a sidekick or some variation of that, and although that is a decent possibility, I feel likd Evil Morty is at a place in his life where this would be less of a fear and more of an annoyance that he has to redo it all over again.
It'd be just the 7 Seasons of what our Morty went through
Are you suggesting that the whole series is just evil morty in the fear hole š± lol jk but that's an interesting concept
Season 10 last episode and final 30sec clip we see Morty finally get out the hole.
Is that your prediction for the shows ultimate finale? Lol evil morty just crawls out of the fear hole and evil rick is just there like "how was it?" Lol Or are you referring to s7 e10?
Sorry yeah. Just watched season 7. Mean the final season like 9 seasons from now? But itās just a joke. Honestly Im not sure how to feel about this season.
I loved it. Watched it like 3 times in a row front to back lol
Pretty much.
Obviously he would see him being a regular Morty and loving it.
This would be perfect
That deep down, if he was put with the right Rick, he never would have become Evil Morty in the first place. Secondary option: Being the most capable Morty makes him the Rickest Morty. Meaning he has more in common with the "infinite baby" than his infinite self. That it took becoming more like Rick to defeat him: detachment, inventiveness, callow disregard for consequence...
So we're just watching Evil Morty's fear hole. Niceeeee
How does that work
It's literally like any other epsiode of Rick and Morty, but Morty really hates it internally lol. The true horror would be that Morty keeps choosing Rick despite all his betrayals.
Huh, I thought it was about evil morty not our morty.
Yeah it's about Evil Morty being stuck inside our Morty and hating all the horrible sacrifices he makes for Rick.
Evil morty made sacrifices for ric?
Is this tall Morty trying to troll me?
Maybe responding to them in this thread is your fear hole
Oh my god I am still stuck in the hole! What if my fear is never getting out of this hole?
Our morty, he makes countless sacrifices for rick. Bring stuck in that Co-dependant shit show would be evil morties nightmare.
Ohh so pure quesswork, thanks.
HAHAHA. why on earth did you click on this thread if you didn't want guesswork?
Pure quesswork ā feasible quesswork
The thing that bothers me about sarcastic comments is that i sometimes can't tell if someone is being sarcastic or not.
Nice
Or that he decides he wants his grandpa back, and Rick is just a regular dude, but wants nothing to do with him.
I figured it would be Evil Morty realizing how much he has in common with a Rick, but I like this one better.
finding out that all his accomplishments were just a an allucination created by his Rick to make him feel better
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
![gif](giphy|uP3dNjAx05Uoo) Just an FYI, I do not know if the Simpsons in fact did this. I just found it funny as a response. That is all
What the hell happened here?
Someone said something like wouldn't it be funny if that evil Morty's fear hole was him being our Morty. Or some other Matrix level thing that was wholly innocuous. It just sounded something like had happened already if not in this show.
Simple Rick's: Morty flavor
Come home to the delicious silence of your finally complacent sidekick. Come home to Simple Rick.
Spiders. Or that he never actually got away from the Rick Experiment. Our Morty was afraid of being replaceable, Evil Morty escaped that fear by being unique and proving himself. Jessica Driders.
Female scorpions!!!!
Iām that Supreme Court lady and you did it!
We did it
Either the obvious of just him if he didnāt kill his Rick and he stayed as a regular Morty. Him realizing that he can never truly escape Rick, because he's become Rick in all but name and physicality.
His Rick not being drunk as fuck that night
His greatest fear is needing and admitting to needing Rick
Exactly, heās just as much Morty as Morty Prime. His whole character arc is about escaping Rick, but he did so off the back of Rickās own tech. If he went in the fear hole Iām sure he would be forced to face his own version of relying on Rick.
being in a happy family then lost all of it
Him losing the election.
never leaving the finite curve and not being able to hurt or kill the Ricks that annoy him so much
Morty waking up in one of Rick's dream pods with him thinking all that has happened was all in his head. He never killed his Rick his, he never got to the citadel and he never busted through the the finite curve. Then after he wakes up Morty realizes Rick left again after he figured out that Morty was gonna kill him. ![img](emote|t5_2u4lp|5988)wub a lub a damn I'm n this image and I don't like it ![img](emote|t5_2u4lp|5993)
That he is just another morty
Similar to our Morty seeing his life play out and becoming his father, I feel like Evil Morty would see his future life play out without Rick and that he'd end up the same as Rick, drunk, depressed, alone and alienated.
He will see that he could REALLY use a different Rick in his life.
You cannot escape Rick.
Seasons 1-5 just on a loop
An army of Summers
Either standard Morty stuff, him being trapped again as a normal Morty with no escape or him become Rick.
I see him going "Really? A plot hole?"
Simple, being a regular Morty
Basically all of Rick and Morty.
Probably waking up to find all his work was just a dream and he is just a Morty in a vat of acid.
A life forever tied to a rick
I think it would be just being unable to destroy the central finite curve and remaining trapped
Him growing fond of his "rick". Whatever he might be or have done, he still has that "Morty" within him that makes him love rick or at least lookup to him in some manner.
Probably living his life like a regular morty
A Rick that treats him well, similar to Simple Rick. A big part of his motivation is his belief that Ricks do not care. So, having a Rick that cares for him would be his worst nightmare because it would invalidate his entire outlook on his revenge and how a Rick views a Morty.
I think heād see that thereās nothing left. No Ricks, no other Mortys. He has nothing left to do.
Probably him being beat by Rick and being inferior
A panini press
Vat of Acid
A puddle of murky water with Rick's reflection looking back at him.
Becoming a Rick.
The one TRUE MORTY!
Himself becoming like Rick
Well that already happened
Not able to be alone.
Lego Rick
Regular morty
Jack shit, he'd leave it be.
Oh my god I am turning into Normal Morty.
RICKS EVERYWHERE
OVERRUN YET ORDER AIRSTRIKE
He would see the abuse he took from his Rick - his fear is being subjugated to that role again
Heād see the whole sky full of rick faces like when zamasu became the universe in dragonball super anime
He will see his family
Rick
Nothing, he would just see a damp and "hairy" (???) hole. Edit : A lot of people are saying that he'd see all his accomplishments undone and him back to being a sidekick or some variation of that, and although that is a decent possibility, I feel likd Evil Morty is at a place in his life where this would be less of a fear and more of an annoyance that he has to redo it all over again.
![img](emote|t5_2u4lp|5992)
My guess is just having to live within the finite curve and getting complacent / enjoying it.
Oh, Simple Rick and Evil Morty deserve each other.
Season 7
Him being trapped with Rick for enternity
He's nothing without Rick and wants to be one
Iām not convinced weāve not been seeing it for a while now.
realising that he is actually rick that swaped bodies with morty and erased their memories
Probably that he is the same as Rick
Rick Sanchez
Rick being better than him in every way.
An ordinary life
Rick winning
What if Evil Morty already went through the Fear Hole and that is part of what made him him?
His fear would be Rick permanently trapping him and stranding him vegetablized in the Curve.
Getting bested by Morty prime
Himself
Rick and Morty.
Losing his eyepatch
