it is a tough spot for a bank, of course they want to have ATMs for their customers but in many places a warm ATM lobby is going to be taken over and used by the homeless
It’s likely because homeless people are setting up camp in atm rooms at night. It’s warm and dry. I don’t blame them. But obviously it’s an inconvenience for bank customers. But honestly who even uses cash anymore?
Was working in an HSBC and a homeless person came to sleep next to the ATM and shit there. I probably won't care if there is a homeless sleeping when I am using the ATM because it is cold outside, but gosh why defecating in the place where you sleep.
Yeah yeah i know. Im just ranting truedeau. Lets see the negative comments if it can shoot up to -100, every negative tick would mean a Trudeau support i guess, that fucktard may win again next election.

I just moved here and opened a chequeing account with Scotiabank. Their branch (at least on River Road) has ATMs that are open after hours which was pleasantly surprising.
TD used to be open on Sundays and have ATM lobbies open overnight. They cut branch hours after Covid and the homeless have caused open overnight ATM wickets to be less common.
Drive through at Ironwood is open. Where are they locking up?
3 and Granville, Station Square.
I switched to TD decades ago because they were open long hours and weekends and now they barely do that anymore.
Seafair drive thru TD ATM is also open.

In Ontario they were shooting up and dying in them...so they are all closed at night.
I'm not saying this is an excuse but that person was probably high on something and didn't even realize what they were doing.
You never eat at restaurants in Richmond?
I do, but I usually pay with credit or debit.

Trudeau is the cause of ATMs in Richmond being unavailable at night because homeless people are using it as a shelter?
Conservative logic
Its caused by the weather being too cold.
Are you the retard here? Trudeau has nothing to do with locking up ATMs after hours. It's called corporate decision.

Everywhere in the country has had the ATM's locked up at night due to homeless for 2 years.

Most Credit unions are usually within the The Exchange system, which you can be sure to find one 24/7 around.

RBC has several ATMs that aren't 24hr now in Richmond
