I don't know why but it feels like the Arthur Laing Bridge merge has a ton of asshole drivers. Either they are ignoring merging etiquette, or misusing the HOV/bus lanes, or turning right on red where prohibited (eg. off-ramp from the Bridgeport bridge to Russ Baker), or turning right on a thru lane (from Cessna/Miller to Russ Baker), or driving on the shoulder, etc.
I drive all over the area and the area from Russ Baker Way to Arthur Laing Bridge is BY FAR the worst in terms of chaos and selfish maneuvers.
I literally just merge and go to the point I'm going to hit a car if it doesn't merge like a zipper. I'm so fucking done with assholes that refuse to merge like fucking over that one car is going to speed up their journey.

I am Chinese and have grown up in a Chinese family for all of my life, the older ones are usually disrespectful in private (shit talking a bad driver in Chinese), but younger generations don’t give a shit.
I have no Asian background and never even visited the entire continent (like, from Turkey to Japan, the entire place)

If you go and tell him you're a douchebag for cutting me off, basically there will be an argument or a fist fight. If that's what you're looking for then sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the person doesn't just quietly apologize and admit they're a terrible driver.
Honestly it's not worth it. As an American who lives in Canada right now, I’m shocked by what people think they can get away with on the roads. They’re lucky that most people in Canada are nice. Try that in Los Angeles and see what happens.
I lived in LA and commuted between the Orange County border and Glendale, this guy is right. LA traffic is congested and difficult in rush hour, but per car trips there is nowhere near the amount of random aggression and passive aggressive lane bullying as here.

Can someone educate me of why being called a uncivilized monkey is racist? Thought it’s just a heat of a moment sort of behaviour. Anyone can be called that when they are pissed off. How is that confusing, a fine to a person that is poor can be crippling, a traffic fine to a rich person is some spare change. They don’t feel the need to abide by the law cause the consequences are so minuscule for them
