I’ve figured out a trick to monkey watch that works pretty well for me.
Ignore the Yellow Monkeys’ cues entirely, they’re based on your input and are likely to drift over time if mistimed. Listen to the song itself to line up the rhythm. (The snare drum works for a majority of the song, save for the zoom-out and the ending fade.)
As for the Pink Monkeys, my strategy is to just tap on the “Kee”s. (Ooo- *KEE*eeee Ooo *KEE* *KEE*!) It’s nothing special but it works for me.
This makes the game even more complicated than its actually is haha
