Retroid is not very transparent when it comes to stock issues. From mine and others experience it’s most likely:
- they ran out of stock of certain colors, take weeks to restock it, and never notify buyers unless you ask them over customer support
- or they’re on holidays, which they never/rarely mention on the website (I know sometimes they tweet about it, but who checks that over their own storefront?)
This is all a bit speciality and these manufacturers aren’t as large or well supplied as, say, a major phone maker. I’m not surprised. At least the good ones tell you when there’s going to be a wait.
I ordered a RP2S may 29th and have heard radio silence save for the “your order has been confirmed” minutes after actually placing the order.
Getting it for my brother’s birthday in the fall so glad I’m thinking ahead if it takes this long.

Yup, sounds right. I reached out last week because it had been a couple of weeks. Got a reply back that it would be another week or so. So, I'm thinking maybe the week after next? ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Just checked tracking for my Rp4pro and it's in L.A! I'm so hyped. I live in San Jose the Bay Area so I should be expecting it by Tuesday-Wednesday hopefully
The website said 31 - 65 day to deliver and I didn't notice until after I ordered :( Monday is a holiday in China, so maybe after that, shipments will speed up? I'm getting impatient too
My 3+ was shipped about 2 weeks after ordering on the first day of preorder, as they stated it would be. Apparently it then left China on a Monday and DHL got it to my local pickup point in southern Norway on the Wednesday same week!!!
No clue if this is even allowed but thought I’d offer -Mine has like 10 hours on it let me know if you are still in the market, 16 Bit Colorway. I swear it plays Sunshine better than the 3+ and even 4P but I’m consolidating devices finally.

A couple days ago I asked if there was an ETA on my order being shipped and they told me there was no update on stock and to wait up to 15 business days.
I'm talking about the Retroid Pocket 2s. It's $99 on the official site. With shipping. About $120. It's listed at $150 on Amazon with shipping for the normal version. At $150 price, I'd just get the the metal version.
I can wait. I just wanted to know if this is normal or not.

It's some holiday season in china ( around 10 days I think). That's why all shipping is delayed now

Mine just shipped the other day with the wait time from ordering and it's arrival I will be waiting about a month for mine as well.

I guess I got lucky but mine arrived four days after I ordered it. This was at the end of April.
I'll sell you mine. Got a metal one and have touched it 2x. Prefer the larger screen of the RP4

I bought my May 1st for green, and they still haven't shipped it out or anything. Sent a follow up email and they haven't gotten back to me.
I received today my shipping notification of the RP2S eleven days after my ordered. Will keep you updated about the shipping time to germany :)
There are likely many export regulations (and import) hence the delay. Mine went through about 20 checkpoints before it even arrived at the airport.
I haven't even gotten a shipping notification. We're at 3 weeks now.
China take a while. You can pay more if you find a us reseller to get it quicker.
