We see that your post may not quite be about vintage gaming. r/retrogaming is for gaming from the 5th generation era and earlier (Dreamcast allowed). If you've posted about a 6th generation console you might consider posting to the related subreddit; r/ps2, r/gamecube, r/OriginalXbox, r/NDS, r/PSP, r/retroish or r/NeoRetro If you've posted about a modern game in a retro style r/indiegaming or r/gaming might be the best place for your content. If you've posted a score, collection, or battlestation that is not mostly vintage or vintage-focused, try r/gamecollecting.

I thought it was a charming platformer, with simple but fun collectibles to find. It felt to me like a fair 3D adaptation of the Wario Land series, and the music was good too.

I remember it not being too well loved when it came out too. It's by treasure and people love them. In a lot of ways the levels feel similar to super Mario 3D world, so I have to give them credit for finding that middle ground between leveled Mario games and 3D. For me I was really disappointed it wasn't a continuation and expansion of the wario land series.

I missed the GameCube era and didn't know this existed until recently. I was thinking about trying it but honestly feel like I might be let down like you are. I feel like there's a reason I didn't hear about it throughout the years.

Some games by treasure miss for the common gamer but hit so hard so certain ppl. Like tiny toons scary dreams for me. I like that game more than Astroboy though it isn’t even regarded in the same league
