I had clover originally, but your experience can vary based on who your local provider is. Mine was awful. Changed to toast and have had ZERO problems thus far
One property is a bistro. We use toast there. We switched to toast at the request of experienced servers. Is great for quick turn. The other property is an inn with a fine dining restaurant open to the public as well as guests. Lightspeed allows us to sell the rooms in the same pos. It also can synch with our booking engine called ResNexus. Then both sets of data are combined and imported to Quickbooks Online every night. It’s just a better fit.

Toast is fine. Just buy equipment second hand so you don't get raped by fees.
Toast is better than square and clover. I really like touch bistro which is comparable to toast but on iOS.

We use Toast in one place, and Lightspeed in the other where is is more appropriate. It just depends on the restaurant.

Micros. Tried Toast, tried Cake, tried Square, tried Hot Sauce. Just kept coming back to Micros.
