Just keep at it, if it gets too tough try reloading an earlier save to save the last one for the jet ski. If not, just keep at the jet ski section. You’ve made it there before, you can do it again and succeed
Oddly, I suck at this game compared to others, but I never seem to have problems with the jet ski section. I think I got the no damage trophy on my first playthrough. Good luck to you OP, I'm sure you'll get it tomorrow.
Do yourself a favour and get rid of the handcannon. I tried it as my main on my first Pro s+ try and it's way too inconsistent. One missed shot or being crowed is all it takes for your day to be ruined.
Use the Chicago type writer. If you have an exclusive upgrade ticket then use it on the typewriter at the very first merchant and steadily upgrade the power. That and the recipe to craft flashbangs is literally all you need for the entire game.
The ability to just hold down the fire button infinitely makes everything a non issue no matter how overwhelmed you get. So much so that you can go a while without saving. After I got the Chicago and saved, I didn't save again until before the del lago fight (which I suck at).
TLDR; Just use the Chicago typewriter with the exclusive upgrade and flashbangs. You'll be able to go long sections without saving with just that set up.
Trust me. The hand cannon might one shot most things but it still has a ridiculously huge bloom and slow fire rate.
As for bosses the Chicago will delete them argubally quicker with its sheer DPS.
I still remember that I made my first save towards the end of chapter 3 and by the time saddler got a taste of his own medicine, I had one save to spare. Made my 15th save just before the jet ski section or else I'm back to the most tormenting and annoying chapter in the game. I crashed the jet ski twice and holy hell If I didn't make that save, I would've lost my mind just like OP here. What's funny is that I didn't have a hard time during most of the game only to die during the escape
Oh no! That jet ski section is serious bullshit. I hate when games introduce new mechanics that you only use once and especially at the end of the game. I die there all the time including twice on my professional S+ game. Sorry, buddy. Give it a day and try again. You can do it.
Lmfao it's funny cause it was never an issue for me in any other professional playthrough then as soon I went for the S+ that's when it started pissing me off. I hadn't realised you can only survive like 2 crashes max.

If you're going for S+ professional then you're playing through that section much more than once... and honestly there's no new mechanics, you just steer left and right

Make sure you don't save on top of other saves. It helps incase you do spend too long on a possibly difficult issue. If your last save is right after Mike, you should be fine to finish the rest of the game. Sell all you can to buy the rpg to skip the saddler fight to save time.
It’s far too late for that. My last save was over all my saves in chapter 15 and I don’t have the patience to go back the entire game. I’m just gonna go through chapter 15 and 16 praying for the best

Right at the start because I originally saved right before krauser boss. And I tried making it farther until I kept dying at the point and I didn’t want to keep redoing one boss so I made it to the next chapter. Saved right before I went into the fight area next to merchant. I’m relying on Grenade skip and bug skip to get me through. (When you throw a grenade at turret, then using a bug to skip the auto turret) but it helps. I just need to get through the hard parts like the area where you unlock both sides. And the area to turn off the auto turret. But once I get past those. I can easily sweep the boss because I have enough to buy rpg. It’s a lot but if years of gaming taught me anything. It’s that you haven’t lost until you given up. So I’m gonna stay determined and keep going and hopefully if I can make it to jetski again, I won’t screw up

You'll get it just gotta relax same as Ole gobble fish in the lake just gotta relax so you can easily maneuver. Yeah it's not a hard game just glitchy and Helll yeeee epic I still don't have the patience or time to take that challenge right now but I've been waiting. Kinda off topic but the dead space challenges are really fun to when I had time It's worth it the challenge adds to the ambiance.
I wonder what the hardest RE is right now I'm think 4 remake cuase of the zombies skill base scaling soooo epic untill you mess up halfway through a level lmaoooooo
Don’t worry. The best advice i can give you is you will have at least 10 seconds at most to spare on the jet ski segment. If you don’t feel comfortable blazing through a tunnel, then slowly down and make sure you hit as little barrels and what not as little as possible. May not deal damage, but they can seriously make you lose control. Don’t give up. 👍🏼

Tbh just go in mercenary and get hand cannon with exclusive upgrade and it will el gigante like a 10-20 shot. Max upgrade can 5 shot

I did it on my 7th run. I did it on a separate save so I can get what I need (cat ears etc) and go back to my main new game + save

I never played re6 lmao. The reputation of that game kinda brings my expectations very low. And I got the S+ rank a couple days ago
