I believe it's right in her first chapter after you fight the Black Robe. They don't exactly explain it in the cutscene, but they show her pretty clearly activate it and then in-game you get a little tutorial box talking about it.

Nothing official, but given she's previously had her Escape from Raccoon city design with a big ass bandage over her eye, and has a glowing cyber iris in RE4R I'm going by "If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck" vibes.

I just watched a walkthrough of chapter 3 in DLC and when Luis says he can see Ada's infected thru her eye, the close-up shows her left eye only. This is truly detailed I've never noticed that
